★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s very hard choice to choose which steakhouse to go when visited NY. So many nice places but we ended up here and no regrets! We definitely went with Porterhouse for 2. There’s no side provided for free with the porterhouse. You can order them individually. We went with sautéed seasonal mushroom with truffles. For the appetizer, something we praised them all the time - their Duo Tartare! It was so so so goood. Made our tummy rumbled with joy before the starred dish came. No doubt for the porterhouse. So juicy, chewy (for the tenderloin) and seasoning well. We finished it all without adding any sauce to it.Reviewing this now makes me want to go to the place offering porterhouse rn! 😋
August 22 · Mind ThamaratanasiriWe visited here on a Friday night and took advantage of the restaurant week menu which was a great deal ($60 for 3 courses). We had an early table at 6pm but within half an hour the restaurant really started to fill up.We went with the calamari and bacon starters. The calamari was not what I was expecting (I was expecting deep fried but I should have read the menu properly) but was tasty nonetheless. The bacon was a little fatty for me but I think that is just the nature of the dish. We both went for steaks for our main course and these were cooked nicely, although nothing standout or amazing. For sides we had the Brussels and the mashed potatoes, these were both really good and would highly recommend. Finally, I had the mousse cake for dessert and my other half had the carrot cake. Both of these were delicious, although we were too full to finish. All in all I would say this is a solid steakhouse. Would I return? Probably not as there are so many steakhouses in NYC, but I also wouldn’t advise anyone against going.
February 04 · Helen SWe have eaten at many steakhouses while visiting NYC. During our most recent trip we decided to have dinner at Benjamin Steakhouse. The service provided by Elvis was outstanding! He made us feel like we were his only table!! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides and dessert was just as impressive! The atmosphere was special and upscale, but comfortable. It was such an enjoyable evening. An excellent experience and we WILL return!
September 07 · Bev TI’ve been here several times and really enjoy the dry-aged steak (medium rare). The appetizers — bacon, mozzarella & tomato, and the onion soup — as well as the main filet mignon and the cake were all delicious. There are many other options available too. They also have a great selection of wines. The service was excellent, and the timing of each dish was perfect. They also have private rooms, so it’s possible to host a party for around 15 people. It was a great experience overall.
June 10 · S. B.we ate at the bar. The environment was beautiful. I don't even like meat that much or even burgers, but the sliders that I ordered were mind-blowing. I ate them before a flight and actually thought about ordering extras to bring home. Incredibly delicious. Steak fries were awesome too as was the marinated calamari.A bartender named Lily made us delicious drinks and also give us incredible service. Just a super nice person who deserves a shout out for making this place even better than it is.Recommend 100%!
