Chef Quang Introduce
If you're a New Yorker with a craving for bold, diverse flavors that transcend traditional boundaries, it's time to put Chef Quang on your radar. Situated in the heart of Brooklyn, this establishment is far more than your typical local spot; it is a culinary intersection that expertly merges the rich, savory traditions of Chinese cuisine with the vibrant, spicy zest of the Caribbean. Specifically, the menu features elements reminiscent of Guyanese-Chinese cooking, a unique fusion that has become a beloved staple in many New York communities. Chef Quang offers an exciting dual-cuisine experience, ensuring there is a dish to satisfy virtually every palate, whether you’re seeking classic Chinese comfort food, authentic West Indian curry, or a perfect blend of both.
This blend of culinary traditions stems from a historical connection, particularly in the Caribbean nations like Guyana, where Chinese indentured laborers introduced their cooking techniques and ingredients, adapting them to local produce and spices. The result is a flavor profile that is distinctively rich—think the complexity of soy sauce and ginger meeting the heat of jerk spice and the sweetness of fried plantains. At Chef Quang, this tradition is carried on, offering a menu that includes everything from classic Lo Mein and Chow Mein to flavorful Caribbean curries, all under one roof. It is this commitment to a diverse and expansive menu that makes Chef Quang a standout destination for food enthusiasts across New York, especially in the Brooklyn area.
The restaurant caters to a variety of dining occasions, whether you're looking for a quick, flavorful lunch, a relaxing dinner with family and friends, or need catering for a larger event. Their commitment to accessibility and convenience, with options for dine-in, takeout, and delivery, solidifies its role as a neighborhood favorite.
For anyone in New York looking to visit Chef Quang, finding its location in Brooklyn is straightforward. The restaurant is conveniently located at 3360 Atlantic Ave in the Cypress Hills neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY 11208, USA. This area is known for its vibrant community and accessibility, making it an easy destination for locals and those traveling from other boroughs.
While the most precise public transit information often requires checking a real-time transit app (like the MTA’s service updates) for your specific starting point, the Atlantic Avenue location suggests a good connection to both vehicular and public transportation routes, which is common for businesses along this major Brooklyn artery. For those who prefer to drive, the restaurant offers the added convenience of a free parking lot, as well as free street parking options, a considerable amenity in a dense New York neighborhood. Furthermore, the dining establishment is designed to be accessible to all patrons, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and seating, ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone in the community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1So I haven't had food from this place in years (I mean pre-pandemic) so I decided to by some food for my family for Sunday dinner and when I say the food ain't the same. Its ain't. Its disgusting. No one in my house ate it everyone just tasted. And I'm a family of 9 so imagine the money wasted. No vegetables in the fried rice and it was salty and looks like it was barely cooked.DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME DEFINITELY NOT WORTHY THE MONEY
March 03 · Che' CheHighly Disappointed 😞 my brother swears by this food and we went last week on Tue the 9th my stomach is still punishing me for it and today makes a week. Shrimp was not good/fresh. I ate 3 shrimp from the shrimp lo Mein seems like it only had 3 in a large order. The top to the pan of large shrimp fried rice was damaged and or not put on properly so I had to dig the pan of lo mein out of the rice which was all over the bag. I am livid and certainly taking the Rotten food they served me back for a refund soon as my belly and booty allows.
September 16 · xion bacchasBe forewarned, order by phone before going in for takeout. Check your food delivery app to see if the store participates. The staff is young and spend more time talking instead of focusing on the customer in the store. In terms of ambiance, it’s nonexistent! The place is clean, the food is fresh, and the refreshments are limited. The chicken is barely seasoned, and the shrimps are decent, but nothing much to write home about. The taste lacks the tantalizing favor you get from Chinese restaurants. I suggest ordering the small items, in case you don’t like the main course they set up for you. Parking is in front of the store
June 19 · Mr. ShillingtonI love chef quang food it always taste the same and when I go i dont have to wait long to get my order. The best part is its not expensive. I normally order a large house special that comes with shrimp, chicken, beef etc and its only like 12 dollars which last me two meals.Edit:The quality in terms of the food is going down. Im not sure if they change chefs but it use to be really good.
March 31 · SaskiaOn may 17 I bought a small fried rice omg when I got in total garbage the chicken was stale hard like they gathered someone’s left over chicken and put it on my food money wasted and time going there for pick up.
