★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I recently had the pleasure of dining at Georgian Star and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding — attentive without being intrusive, and every member of the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food — absolutely phenomenal. One of the highlights of the evening was Achma, which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and fellow food lovers.
July 13 · Ana GuluaThis place, near the Sheepshead Bay subway station, is amazing!Everything we had here... from bread, to appetizers, to entrees was outstanding. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative; giving details about items before we ordered. The adjaruli khachapuri (a popular Georgian fresh-baked bread vessel with egg and melted cheese in the centre) is a must, as are the khinkali (meat and broth-filled dumplings, similar to momos or Peking ravioli, except much larger and juicier). The selection of breads and desserts is extensive. They also have a good variety of beverages. The newly renovated decor has a fresh, quaint vibe; and the premises are very clean.Update:Second visit this month, and ordered the beetroot & walnut charkhali (moist earthy morsels which also contain pomegranate) and the imeruli khachapuri (a delicious, buttery, cheese-filled, fluffy and flaky pie).We also learned that this place is open until midnight, which is very convenient.
August 28 · Keith BenichasaKind, friendly service; a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere; and excellent Georgian cuisine. A perfect visit for this hungry Brooklyn visitor!
September 21 · Hamish MacFMy wife and I visited for the first time today — and we were truly impressed! We ordered two shawarmas, a bottled raspberry compote, and a slice of honey cake (medovik) for dessert.🥙 The shawarma was absolutely delicious — juicy, flavorful, and impossible to put down after the first bite. Honestly, one of the best shawarmas we’ve ever had!🍷 The raspberry compote was incredibly fresh and natural, with a rich berry taste that reminded us of homemade fruit drinks.🍰 The honey cake was soft, delicate, and clearly made with love — it tasted just like a homemade dessert without any artificial additives.❤️ Everything we tried felt fresh, homemade, and crafted with care using high-quality ingredients. We’re very happy with this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Georgian flavors and warm hospitality!
July 15 · Vlad GLoved everything about this place — cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and absolutely delicious food. Everything was a standout! Great value for the quality. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends!
