I ordered what I thought was vegetable soup a week prior from today 8/7/25and ate it. I returned to the store to buy another large vegetable soup today 8/7/25. I specifically said to make it vegan both times I visited the store. I said to her to make sure it’s 100% vegan the broth and all and she said it was a chicken broth and that was what I had last week. It which really upset me because being a vegan I ate chicken broth without realizing it. Those workers are so nasty with attitude. I told her she is lucky I didn’t have an allergy to chicken. They don’t care about what the customer requests. They just prepare your food the way they want to prepare it. I asked for a refund and left. I will never return to a restaurant that cannot follow simple orders. I don’t want anyone preparing food for me with bad energy or a bad attitude!!! BEWARE EATING AT THIS PLACE!!! - Brenda Lewis

Go Noodle Introduce

In the bustling landscape of Midtown East, where speed and convenience are paramount, finding a go-to spot for a reliable and satisfying meal is a daily necessity for many New Yorkers. Go Noodle, also known as Go Noodle Nine Moon, is a Chinese restaurant that has established itself as a staple for those seeking a quick, no-frills meal delivered right to their door or ready for a fast pickup. This establishment, while not a sit-down dining experience in the traditional sense, perfectly caters to the high-energy demands of its neighborhood. Its core business model is built around efficiency and a wide-ranging menu, offering a multitude of Chinese dishes that are designed for takeout and delivery. The name itself, "Go Noodle," hints at its primary focus: providing delicious and quick noodle-based meals. The food is often described by a loyal customer base as "delicious," "hot," and "fresh," making it a dependable choice for a classic Chinese food craving. However, like many fast-paced businesses, customer experiences can be varied, with some praising the value and speed, while others have noted specific issues with order accuracy or food quality. It is this duality that makes Go Noodle a truly New York experience—a place that can be both a fantastic discovery for some and a source of frustration for others. Despite the mixed bag of feedback, its longevity and a large volume of positive ratings on major delivery platforms suggest it is a place that, for many, gets it right. Its reputation as a high-volume, delivery-focused restaurant underscores its role as an integral part of the local ecosystem, providing a fast and often affordable food solution for a community constantly on the move.

Go Noodle is located at 1069 1st Ave, New York, NY 10022, USA, in the heart of Midtown East. Its location on a major avenue makes it a highly accessible spot for a vast number of people in the area. Situated between residential blocks and a mix of commercial buildings, the restaurant serves a diverse clientele, including locals, professionals, and visitors. The address is conveniently situated near several key transportation hubs. While not directly next to a major subway stop, it is within reasonable walking distance of the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue station (4, 5, 6, N, R, W trains) and the Lexington Avenue-53rd Street station (E and M trains). This makes it a quick and easy stop for a grab-and-go meal for anyone commuting or simply navigating the neighborhood on foot. Customer reviews have noted that the location is primarily geared towards "take and go" service, with limited to no seating, which is a common characteristic of many efficient, high-volume eateries in the city. The focus on takeout and delivery means that the restaurant’s physical location serves more as a bustling kitchen and order-pickup point rather than a leisurely dining room. The straightforward accessibility and street-level presence ensure that customers can get their orders quickly and be on their way. This emphasis on efficiency and convenience is perfectly aligned with the fast-paced nature of New York City life and is a key reason for the restaurant's popularity among those who value their time and need a fast solution for their meals.

Another customer reported finding "stones" in their food. This duality is a key aspect of the customer experience and something that potential diners should be aware of.

  • Variety and Customization: The menu is a highlight in itself, offering a wide selection of dishes and options for customization, such as the choice between different rice types or the addition of various proteins, catering to specific cravings.

What is worth choosing:

Choosing Go Noodle is a decision rooted in convenience and value, making it a compelling option for many New Yorkers. It is worth choosing for its role as a fast and affordable solution for Chinese food cravings in Midtown East. The restaurant excels at what it is designed for: getting a broad range of satisfying meals to customers quickly and at a fair price. For those who prioritize efficiency and large portions, the restaurant's business model is a perfect fit. The extensive menu, which includes everything from savory dumplings and noodle soups to classic combo platters, ensures that there's always something to satisfy a wide array of tastes. However, it's also worth noting the mixed reviews. While many patrons have had excellent, reliable experiences with fresh and flavorful food, some have encountered issues with order accuracy or perceived quality. This means that while many consider Go Noodle their favorite spot, it might not be a perfect fit for everyone, especially those with specific dietary requirements or who are seeking an experience with zero chance of error. The service is often described as fast and the staff as courteous, which adds to its appeal as a convenient pit stop. Ultimately, Go Noodle is a quintessential New York dining experience—a high-volume, high-value establishment that, despite its occasional flaws, has earned a loyal customer base by consistently delivering on its promise of fast, flavorful, and filling Chinese food. For a New Yorker in the area, it is a reliable and popular choice, perfect for when you need a quick and easy meal without any fuss.
