★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1French cuisine in an elevated ambiance inside Grand Cetral. Great service, the bartender went out of his way to find a hostess and ensured i am seated properly. Beautiful bar area and grand dining hall with lots of seating options. The beef tartar was super delicious and the main portion. ($39) is really big coming with a side of great fries. My friend's onion soup was also very good.
September 06 · HANE XxxxI saw so many famous people on my way to the toilet.Old school service, ladies and gentlemen!None of that rushed modern nonsense, no!We’re talking about the sort of attention to detail that makes you feel as though someone actually cares about what lands on your plate. The napkin’s crisp, the smile’s genuine, and the glass? Always full. You must experience this place.
August 17 · Elon MuskGrand Brasserie is conveniently located within Grand Central especially when you’re looking for a quick bite before catching a train. I often pop in for a drink, but this time around opted for their onion soup which was absolutely fabulous. It didn’t have that pungent smell onion soups traditionally tends to have which is a positive in my book. The staff is always nice albeit a bit aloof but one could imagine since foot traffic is high, so no points deducted there! It’s a great spot and surprisingly clean for its location. Go!
July 18 · Remi W.Four of us went for dinner recently. First time for all of us at this newish restaurant inside Grand Central station. We entered thru the entrance on 42nd street under Park Avenue. It is a large gorgeous restaurant and well laid out. We sat in the main open dining room after first rejecting a table in the small and darker back room.Service was excellent and very attentive. The food was mostly pretty good but several dishes were just missing something in the Taste area. We ordered a couple of appetizers, the skirt steak, salmon, green beans and four deserts. We also ordered 2 bottles of wine.Overall it was a pleasant evening in a beautiful restaurant.
May 14 · THE EXPLORERI really enjoyed the food. Pate en croute was very good, and duck as a main was amazing. I definitely recommend both! Beet salad and branzino were 5. The chocolate mouse desert was ok. Service is good but attention to detail is lacking. There are 2 areas to sit in, both have bars. One is more dark and has bistro feel, more cozy, while second part is more grand and open with high Grand Central ceilings. Definitely interesting place whether you are new Yorker or visiting.
