★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Love everything about this restaurant. My husband bought a Groupon ( didn’t know they were still around) . We figured reviews were great so give it a try. Close proximity to pier 11 ferry . Booked a 5:30 dinner so we coujd make the ferry home. Walked 2 blocks to water street and took a 10 minute bus ride . The restaurant has nice ambiance . Waiters were attentive and helpful but not overbearing . Didn’t treat you differently cause you had a groupon . Ordered the pate which came with a nice salad and I had the onion soup. Both were plentiful and very good. Soup was not greasy as some onion soups can be. Bread on the table was delicious as well . Coctails were creative. Loved the melon one with basil. My salmon was cooked perfectly with generous olive flavored mashed potatoes and green beans. Husband had the coq au vin. He loved his as well . Dessert was a frozen caramel soufflé . Portions were generous for every dish. The manager went out of his way to make sure you enjoyed your meal. I was highly impressed and would come again without the Groupon. But I have up say this Groupon was a great value. Great dinner experience.. it’s 7:20 and we are back on the ferry home.
March 19 · MIKE ScandifWe had a wonderful dinner at Le Jardin Bistro on the Lower East Side. For appetizers, we had the country-style pate and the endive salad with apples, walnuts & Roquefort. For our main course, we both had the duck breast with roasted carrots & string beans, and a potato gratin. For dessert, we shared a caramel soufflé with ice cream. The restaurant is beautiful, they have a very interesting cocktail menu (we had their take on a Boulevardier), the food is fantastic, and the service, amazing (make sure you get Iron as your waiter; he is the king of servers). We will definitely be going back!As an aside, being partially disabled, I really appreciated the elevator to the ladies room!

March 12 · Karla MichelleWe had a lovely meal. Our sever was a pro - confident, friendly, and on top of everything. The steak frites were as good as advertised. For a moment, it felt like we were back in Paris! 🇫🇷
May 05 · Tony D'AntonioThe food was excellent 9/10. I got a medium steak, it was prepared perfectly. Our server was knowledgeable and checked in regularly and appropriately. The space itself is very beautiful, I came with a few friends but I would definitely come here again for a nice cute date or another outing with family. Overall I had a really great experience. The drinks are nice and strong too. I had a few ;)
