★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Not the best Japanese fusion but not the worst. Cod sand was the best thing on the table. The spiral potato was a little greasy and less flavorful than advertised on the menu. The apple tart tatin pancakes were very mid -- they looked very impressive but the batter was quite eggy, but not too sweet which is good if that's what you are looking for. Overall not bad.
August 03 · Laci kimMy fiancé took me here after we got engaged as a surprise and it was lovely! The drinks were delicious and so was the brunch. Definitely a bit different flavor wise but I loved that about it. Our waiter was also very kind and brought us champagne to celebrate our engagement💍🤍
July 12 · Gabby ZeaglerWe had an absolutely fantastic experience at Lingo for brunch. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend the Japanese set for a wide sampling of different foods. The sandos were also delicious. We shared the pancakes and holy cow, one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Not one to miss - I’ll be back for dinner.
July 12 · Kamy ChongWow what an amazing dining experience.Everything was so flavorful and so unique! My top dishes were:1. Hokkaido seafood somen noodles. So refreshing and full of amazing seafood flavor without being extremely strong or pungent.2. Niku short rib jaga - meat was perfectly cooked and combined perfectly with the dashi flavor.3. Lingo Beef pie - very hearty and aromatic. Delicious but did not stand out other than it's presentation. Probably the most American-inspired of all their dishes. Also the cocktails were hitting the spot. Would for sure come here again.
August 24 · Jan Ezer DominguezI absolutely loved this Japanese fusion restaurant — the flavors and creativity were spot on!We started with the chawanmushi, a delicately steamed egg custard served in a charming teacup. The addition of aged Parmesan was such a delightful twist — as a cheese lover, I was amazed by how perfectly it blended with the dish.Next came the roasted bone marrow steak tartare, which was easily a 10/10. At first, I thought it was just presented in a marrow bone, but it actually incorporated the rich, juicy marrow into the tartare itself. The depth of flavor was unlike any tartare I’ve had before — incredibly savory and indulgent. For mains, we shared the Lingo Beef Pie along with the Grilled Wild Scallion and Corn Donabe Rice. The beef pie was hearty and delicious, while the donabe rice stood out with its bright hint of lemon zest that added such a refreshing kick. The tempura corn and mushrooms on top were the perfect crispy, flavorful touch.I’d highly recommend dining here — and as a bonus, the restaurant sits right by the waterfront. Coming at sunset, when the sky turns shades of orange and pink over the cityscape, makes the whole experience even more special 🥰
