I was returning home after a long walk around midtown and decided to stop at this Matto to get a coffee and snack. Ordered Americano and a pistachio muffin. Coffee was great and muffin was delicious. Limited seating inside and outside.

I got the iced banana date latte and it was quite good overall, but not too sweet - I actually wish it had been a bit sweeter.

Was very surprised that $2.5 menu disappeared. I guess I was in a transection of $2.5-3 menu, but it still showed $2.5 menu on my app. Not until I placed order, I noticed the price was raised. Don’t get me wrong the price was still very reasonable and good but I was a bit disappointed that there was no notification and I’ve been their customer for years. I knew the price and never really checked on the price. I guess this review was really to the brand but not specifically to the store. However, the store was small but have at least 6-7 indoor sittings but the atmosphere was ok, not like that kind of Cafe shop that you would stay and spend time there. It was more like grab and go kinda vibes, like a fast food restaurant. But it’s overall very nice and clean. The staff was good and always making coffee fast and the coffee tastes good. Street parking is very challenging and difficult for weekdays, weekend there are several street parking few blocks away from the store. I’ve never seen the store gets busy because I assumed most of people order through app and pick up there like me. Still one of my favorite place to get a coffee on my way to work or break time! Highly recommend their pistachio muffin, one of my favorite pastries from them!

I ordered through app. Was on bus. When I got there, the door was locked but employee was still there. She brought my order to the door and placed in my cart. Croissant were not very secured in small bags. Should have been placed in a handle bag. I fortunately had a bag I could put everything in, then in cart. Grateful I still got my order but not happy with packaging. Also, one of Croissants was dry.
