★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Merci Market is consistent and reliable! It’s been my go to bodega for sandwiches, salads and any snacks in between for over 2 years now! Whether you want a bacon, egg and cheese and coffee at 7am or a sandwich at midnight, Merci Market has an assortment of options. Amazing flower selection too!
June 20 · Julie BergerTo whom it may concern,I’m a regular customer and live in the neighborhood, but I had an extremely upsetting experience during my most recent visit. After purchasing an item, I accidentally dropped some change. As I was picking it up, a tall Asian woman working at the counter—who I’ve never seen before and may be a new employee—rudely told me to “move, move” instead of simply saying “excuse me.” Her tone was aggressive and completely disrespectful.Even the customer behind me noticed and commented that she could have spoken more kindly. Shockingly, the worker replied, “No, she doesn’t—get the hell out the way.” That kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in a community-based deli where respect should be a standard.Because of this incident, I will no longer be returning to your deli, even though I live just up the block. I would rather walk farther to places like the one on 20th and Eighth Avenue where I know I’ll be treated with basic decency.I hope this message is taken seriously and that this type of disrespect is addressed.
June 02 · Vicky ReyesThis place will always remind me of first moving to New York in 2008. The smelll of the flowers. The hard to find items. The smoked salmon bagel. How could one ask for anything more?!
June 19 · Jay T BlondekI live right above this deli and since I moved into the same building it has become my cafeteria and I eat breakfast from here several times a week. I can always grab a quick sandwich or a fresh salad for lunch and if I need the occasional late night snack they are open. The staff is great and are always so friendly and they do a really good job of stocking exactly what you need so you don't have to go to the grocery store. I really appreciate having such a great place like this in my neighborhood.
December 09 · Michael BhagwandinThey keep charging more and more for the same sandwich I get all the time ! It’s not fair ! It goes up a dollar everytime . So they seem to be charging whatever they want . Will not be coming back
