September 19 · Andrés BerlLoved this place! It’s a steakhouse, but their lunch menu has plenty of other great options. The dining room is beautifully designed - elegant but still super cozy. The staff was really attentive, and honestly, I’m surprised we hadn’t discovered this spot sooner. It’s also super Instagrammable! Alex the manager noticed we were interested in the design, so he took the time to show us around. Such a nice touch!
July 28 · Maiia BrownFood was good. I got the truffle lasagna and I took my time eating it and the sauce inside got really thickened and it wasn't as enjoyable. The flavor was on point. We also got the tableside prime rib and it was good. The mustard seemed like it was house made and was very tasty, it was as tangy as normal mustard (I am normally not a fan of mustard either). The smoky Paloma was good but the salt took away from the drink. At first the servers were very attentive but by the end of the night we were waiting over 15+ minutes just to get our bill to leave. I did not let this impact the review but when reserving, we put that we were celebrating a birthday and when we got here that wasn't even acknowledged. It might not have been fully communicated but it would have been nice to have had a candle or something come out with the dessert we ordered (just a recommendation going forward).
April 20 · Amanda GorgesVery attractive restaurant. Excellent, friendly service. Quite empty on a Saturday night, but they say weekdays are their more popular times. Their regular menu is, in my opinion, very expensive, but there were two other appealing options. Their NYC Restaurant Week menu ($60) sounded good, but we opted for their Friday & Saturday night Prime Rib Dinner ($75), which was delicious. Two excellent appetizer, potato, & dessert choices (including Cloud Cake, of which I posted a photo). The prime rib came on an opulent cart, with thick slabs carved at the table.
August 10 · ElaineSolid prime rib. Generous cut carved table side in a classic prime rib cart. I like salt but even for me the crust was a little salty. My only criticism of the cut of beef. Otherwise it was tender and delicious. For the price I would expect the prime rib cart to come with more sides like the classics carts at Lawrys or House of PR, but it only came with a potato puree aka gourmet mashed potatoes, which were good. Au jus was great. Broccolini had a nice kick and the service was very good.
