★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Roof Taco Restaurant - A Disappointing Experience with Service and ClarityI recently had the opportunity to visit a roof taco restaurant, hoping for a positive dining experience. Unfortunately, from the outset, my visit was marred by a significant issue with the service, and this unfortunately cast a shadow over the rest of my meal.My initial interaction was with a staff member named Jesus, and I regret to say he was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. This certainly set a negative tone right from the start.Adding to the difficulties, the menus were not particularly clear. The descriptions of the dishes were lacking in explanation, leaving us unsure about what we were ordering. We ended up choosing two chicken enchiladas, two tacos on the side, and an appetizer sampler plate. While the shredded chicken in the dishes was acceptable, the absolute highlight of the meal was the green sauce, which was genuinely tasty. However, this small positive couldn't overcome the overall experience. When we requested additional chips, the same individual, Jesus, ran over to inform us that we would have to pay extra for them. His demeanor throughout this interaction was, again, very unpleasant.Given the poor service and lack of clarity regarding the menu, I can confidently say that I will not be returning to this restaurant.
September 27 · happiness is a journeeThis restaurant gets a perfect score . The service was friendly . Our server Sebastian was great . Cynthia the manager was very welcoming and nice . The ambiance is everything . We sat on the rooftop which was a whole vibe. Very clean and even the restrooms were super clean. Food was amazing best veggie tacos I’ve ever had. My mom had a blast and enjoyed herself as well. Would recommend’ . Love this place.
August 28 · Nor TographyCute local spot, nice decor and ambiance, with available street/metered parking nearby. So far I just got take out for dinner a couple times but the rooftop looked really nice.Birria tacos were $6 each, 2 were $13 and 3 tacos were $20 after tax. Topped with cilantro and onions and served with radish, lime, salsa and consume/broth, overall satisfied my craving.
July 27 · RochileSuch a great experience. The waitress, Cynthia, was excellent. She was very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and atmosphere super nice. They even gave us two shots on the house for my birthday.
November 07 · chulaalejandra13We were so excited to go eat at Salsa Picante because of the good reviews, the outdoor seating and the rooftop. So we decided to take our little dog. When we arrived, we asked the waitress at the front desk, to seat us in the rooftop. When She saw our little dog, She asked if he was a service dog and if we had his ID. I replied to her that my dog is a service dog and that I didn’t have his ID at that moment, then she said that her manager/owner David told her that only service animals with proof were allowed to go inside the restaurant.IT IS NOT LEGAL TO DEMAND PROOF THAT MY DOG IS A SERVICE DOG.Because we really wanted to eat there, we decided stay and asked if we could seat outside, the waitress was hesitant to say yes, but then finally she agreed.I was so DISAPPOINTED.The food was delicious.I hope the owner changes his mind and starts considering in welcoming our little paw 🐾 friends.
