Tea Art Introduce
In a city as dynamic as New York, where new trends and establishments emerge daily, there's something to be said for a place that focuses on perfecting the classics while still offering a modern touch. Tea Art, located in the bustling SoHo neighborhood, is one such place. While it might be known to many as a bubble tea store, it is truly a comprehensive tea house and snack bar that brings a taste of authentic Asian flavors to the heart of the city. As an Asian-owned business, Tea Art is celebrated for its commitment to traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients, resulting in a selection of teas and snacks that are both delicious and authentic. This article will serve as your guide to this vibrant spot, highlighting its unique offerings, welcoming atmosphere, and why it has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Tea Art’s menu is a delightful showcase of both classic and innovative beverages. The heart of the menu is undoubtedly the tea. While a customer's experience with a specific drink, like the matcha, might vary, the general consensus is that Tea Art excels in its fruit and fresh brew teas. Customers rave about the "delicious bubble tea drinks," and the ability to "customize your drinks" with options for sugar level, ice level, and milk choices is a major draw. This customization ensures that every customer can create a beverage that perfectly suits their taste. Beyond the drinks, Tea Art offers a selection of savory snacks, a rarity among many New York City bubble tea shops. The "Fried Delights" menu, which includes items like "Fried Squid" and "Popcorn Chicken," provides a perfect companion to the refreshing teas. The combination of a tasty drink and a savory snack makes Tea Art more than just a quick stop; it's a destination for a satisfying and complete treat.
The atmosphere at Tea Art is a key part of its charm. While seating may be limited, the space itself is described as a "nice looking store." The staff are consistently praised for being "lovely to interact with," creating a warm and friendly environment that enhances the customer experience. This is especially important in a city where service can often feel rushed. The business also proudly identifies as LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe space, making it a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone in the community. This commitment to creating a safe and positive space for all patrons is a major highlight and a reason why many people choose to support the business. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I got the Matcha with boba and the boba is good but the matcha tasted like plain milk. You can tell by the color of the matcha that it’s not very high quality either. It’s a nice looking store though and their other tea drinks are probably better.
April 02 · Kiara LopezWe got brown sugar milk tea, mango fruit tea, strawberry fruit tea, and fresh taro milk with onigiri (spicy tuna and salmon) and Taiwanese sausage sample to try!We enjoyed it and has few seatings available. The staffs are lovely to interact with. You can customize your drinks - sugar level, ice level, milk options and more. We all had medium sized drinks which is enough for us to finish.Thank you again for delicious bubble tea drinks and snacks to savour!
November 26 · Mae Andrea AranasThe sweetest little boba shop! We wandered in close to closing and didn’t want any caffeinated drinks and the tea maker had a full menu of non caffeinated drinks prepared. Got the seasonal pumpkin milk with boba pearls and it was DELICIOUS! They hand make the pumpkin puree with kabocha squash. The menu is super unique with flavors I haven’t seen at other bubble tea chains. We’ll definitely be back to try all the other specialty drinks they have! The owner is super friendly and patiently describes each drink/ answers any questions. There’s a bit of seating indoors too and they sell specialty teas as well.
October 23 · Ying Bonny CaiLove this spot!! The workers are so friendly and Andrew is very accommodating! The space is so cute and thoughtful. They are dog friendly and have a jar of dog treats near the window sill.Tea is amazing and their pudding is out of this world!
April 28 · Valerie ChinBest tea shop in Soho! Andrew was the sweetest and offered us free samples of his caramel pudding and beef jerky. He doesn’t use any artificial flavours and everything is homemade so you won’t be disappointed. Whatever you like boba tea or only tea, Andrew will make sure to suggest you the best drink.
