★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ADORE this place. Super friendly staff, cozy cafe vibes, lovely to stay plates and cups, and phenomenal pastries and food. Also they just started doing gluten free pastries!! I’ve been gluten free for about 4/5 years now and it’s really awesome they offer such tasty gf treats. I specifically Love their strawberry cake right now, super flavorful and not dry at All like other gluten free pastries I’ve found around the city. Bonus points—there’s a bathroom for customers!! You really can’t go wrong with anything here, it’s all worth it!
May 15 · Abbey NeamandLovely vibe on the weekends with cute mugs and a shot of OJ. Came here to journal and read and the music playlist was great.Just fyi They minimize laptop use at the tables and only allow it at the high tops
April 27 · Jessica Bachansinghkind staff, good coffee, and a very yummy almond gluten-free pastry! lots of games and seating. a projector playing movies. a great addition to the upper east side ❤️
August 02 · Lori BerenbergSo so cute. Hard to find coffee shops like this anymore. The hot drinks and sweet snacks are lovely. They have table seating for analog/cell phone guests and rail seating for laptop guests. A humorous sensibility about the place. My favorite part were the mugs fashioned after a body with a fleshy tummy so you could grab the “love handle.”
January 16 · Vanessa TanicienDo not be fooled by the wholesome orange juice and cookie that comes with your order, the staff here are extremely rude and unwelcoming, and their strict policies make for a rigid, cold environment. After an hour and a half I was approached and rudely told to buy something else or leave, when I still had coffee left. There were plenty of seats available for others. It's one thing to sit there all day and buy 1 thing, but being harassed after 1 hour and 31 minutes when i was still sipping on my coffee was super bizarre...They make sure you read a paper about the laptop and 90 minute policy before you buy something, and I understand it's a business and they have to keep things moving, but it makes for a very cold, unwelcoming, and rigid atmosphere and I will not be returning. I used to come here all the time, but I will not be coming back, and will be informing all my friends in the neighborhood about this odd experience! I obeyed the strict laptop rule at the high top table and was still met with unkindness. I did not feel welcome and if you plan to spend longer than an hour and a half I would not recommend coming here.
