★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Exceptional view, atmosphere. Anniversary place for us. 360 rotation will take about 2 hours. The best time to come during sunset enjoy Manhattan during the day and night. Easy reservation on the website. Crab cake was delicious. Don’t recommend burger the meat was perfect but sauce was tasteless and too much onion. French fries were overcooked. In general - experience was great. Liked piano guy
August 30 · Antonio RybalchenkoFood was good but not great. Really enjoyed the lamb chops though! Service was much to be desired I have to say. Had to chase the server literally, waive and scream to attract his attention.Enjoyed the views and live piano music. Won’t be back anytime soon.
August 09 · Taisiia IurchenkoI enjoyed the evening at The View a lot. I also enjoyed the food but thought thee u could use a few more choices. We had the oysters, crab cake, swordfish, chicken and cheesecake. All were very good but I think this restaurant is a been there done that kind of place. I do want to note that they are stingy with the bread. They come around and give you 1 slice at a time and felt you had to by chance catch her for more.
July 26 · L CI hadn’t been to The View in decades, so I was pleased to see the upgraded decor and menu courtesy of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group. All of staff we encountered were attentive and personable—namely, our waitress (Camila), sommelier (Albert) and floor manager (Morgan). The meal was very satisfying. I’ll now keep The View in mind when I’m in town as a destination for a good meal, rather than a tourist attraction that I had written off years ago.
July 22 · Eric YeeMy friend mentioned this place recently reopened so we went to check it out.Nice experience when going as it is on a different floor from the hotel. You take an elevator up and it shows a lot of the inside of the hotel which looks cool.Once at the restaurant we were seated right away since we made reservations prior. The service was great and the food was amazing! I loved my experience there. The view was also great since we sat by the window. Nice experience to go to if celebrating any special occasions!
