A+++ experience. Mark made our visit extraordinary and had fantastic recommendations for us. The pizza is so incredibly good! My absolute favorite is The Dutchess but if you love a classic margherita slice, you must try The Buckminster. Delicious and perfectly cheesy and saucy! The garlic knots and sliders (made on the garlic knots) are also perfection. Great visit, can’t wait to come back! - Stephanie Goldstein

What is Worth Choosing

When you visit Two Boots, the best way to start is with a classic slice. The **"The Buckminster"** is a perfect choice for those who love a classic Margherita, with its perfectly cheesy and saucy topping. For a true taste of the Two Boots' unique flavor, the **"The Bayou Beast"** is a must-try. Its combination of Cajun-spiced toppings and a crispy crust is what makes the restaurant famous. Don't forget to explore the vegan options as well; the **"V for Vegan"** is a crowd-pleaser and a great example of how Two Boots crafts delicious, flavorful pizzas for all.

Beyond the pizza, the **Garlic Knots** are an absolute must. Many customers rave about them, and the sliders, made on these very knots, are also a fantastic option. For a sweet treat, the **House-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie** or the **Gluten-Free Brownie** are the perfect end to your meal. Ultimately, what makes Two Boots Pizza worth choosing is its ability to stand out in a crowded market with its creative menu, inclusive atmosphere, and quick, friendly service. Two Boots Pizza West Village Menu

  • Veggie Pizzas

  • Grandma Bess

Organic san marzano tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil, Parmigiano & mozzarella on a thin, square Sicilian crustA tribute to Phil's Grandma, who loved to windowshop on W. 57th St. and dream of escaping her Flatbush walk-up. Alas, it never happened, but we celebrate her spunk and style with fresh flavors of organic San Marzanos and fresh basil on a traditional grandma crust.

  • The Buckminster

A top-sauce pie featuring marinara sauce, with organic spinach, roasted garlic, parmigiano, provolone & mozzarellaA visionary thinker, designer and teacher, Buckminster Fuller represented the best and most hopeful side of humanity and pioneered a new way of industrial development, trying to do more with less. Please enjoy this simple, yet sumptuous top-sauce pie and consider how we all can be a force of change for the better by reducing our impact on the planet.

  • Larry Tate

Organic fresh spinach, plum tomatoes & fresh garlic on a white pieWith a shock of white hair and an expression of eternal bewilderment, Larry Tate (actor David White) never even noticed when Darrin (Samantha's husband on Bewitched), was replaced by a different actor midway through their run. His namesake pie is one of the Two Boots 'Holy Trinity,' the original named pies created back in 1992.

  • Tony Clifton

Wild mushrooms, vidalia onions, sweet red pepper pesto & mozzarellaOn a hot summer day in 1973, 40 Long Island campers gathered under a tree for a local comic to entertain them. A twitchy guy arrived, turned on his tape player, and started lip-syncing to the Mighty Mouse theme song. The kids thought it was weird, but their counselor (future TB Founder Phil) thought it was genius. The comic's name was Andy Kaufman, and his alter-ego would one day be Tony Clifton. (Or was it?)

  • The Meg

Our very white pie: Provolone, parmigiano, ricotta, mozzarella, roasted garlic & oreganoWe Fell In Love With A Girl around the time of White Blood Cells, and pay homage to the former White Stripes drummer with a very white pie, featuring four cheeses, roasted garlic and oregano. And we're proud the provide pizza to Third Man Records down in Nashville, whenever they need it!

  • Mel Cooley

Sun-dried tomatoes, roasted peppers & basil pesto on a white pieAs the producer of the show-within-a-show on the classic Dick Van Dyke Show, Mel Cooley let the inmates run the asylum. The butt of bald jokes ad infinitum, Mel (actor Richard Deacon) finally gets his due -- and some well-earned immortality -- with this colorful, cult-favorite slice.

  • Animal Collective

Spinach and artichoke dip with a dash of cayenne & a sprinkling of scallions & mozzarellaFrom NYC's mad scientists of pizza (Two Boots) comes a tribute to Baltimore's mad scientists of music (Animal Collective) -- who played at our underground performance space, the Den of Cin, way back in 2000. These indie psych-rock gods live life meat-lessly, so we honor them with a creamy spinach and artichoke slice -- with a kick, of course.

  • Night Tripper

Sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic & jalapeno pesto on a white pieSaluting Dr. John, aka The Night Tripper, patron saint of New Orleans. You make a fine pie, said the man with the bird's nest beard, leaning on his elaborately carved cane, a fine pie, indeed. We were the original Two Boots Restaurant, speaking to an eccentric gent with a supernatural glint in his eye, but it wasn't 'til we saw the dragon's head carved into the cane's handle that we knew we were in the presence of a Louisiana Legend.

  • Meat Pizzas

  • The Bayou Beast

Spiced shrimp, crawfish, andouille, jalapenos & mozzarellaItaly meets Louisiana, and truly the best of both worlds! One of the two foundation izzas from the original Two Boots Restaurant (b. 1987 on Ave. A in NYC's EV) and a personal fave of Founder Phil Hartman.

  • The Bird

Buffalo chicken, blue cheese dressing, scallions & jalapenos on a white pieA tribute to jazz giant - and long-time East Village restaurant - Charlie Bird Parker, the joys of this hot and cool slice may best be enjoyed while listening to side one of Parker With Strings.

  • Cleopatra Jones

Sweet Italian sausage, roasted peppers, red onions & mozzarellaProps to the queen of '70's blaxploitation crime-fighters. With her out-of-this-world 'fro and tell-it-like-it-is attitude, Tamara Dobson is the inspiration for this bad-ass pie, which recreates the pleasures of a sausage & pepper hero on a hot summer night on 1st & 117th, in the Little Italy of East Harlem.

  • Mr. Pink

Creole chicken, plum tomatoes, fresh garlic & mozzarellaSaluting Quentin Tarantino's debut film and EV expat Steve Buscemi. In 1992, director Alex Rockwell brought an unknown filmmaker into the original Two Boots and said This guy's made a movie that's gonna blow people's minds. The film was Reservoir Dogs, and he was right. Three years later, Mr. Pink became one of the Holy Trinity created when Two Boots expanded to the West Village.

  • The Newman

Sopressata & sweet Italian sausage on a white pieSeinfeld's evil nemesis, the controller of all information, and a laugh god -- this diabolical postman's appearances are like blasts of nitrous oxide. Another of the original Two Boots Holy Trinity (along with Larry Tate & Mr. Pink), and a perennial customer favorite.

  • The Dude

Our Cajun bacon cheeseburger pie: ground beef & andouille, tasso ham, cheddar & mozzarellaCult hero/role model/rug aficionado Jeffrey Lebowski (aka The Dude, or Duder, or El Duderino) is the inspiration for this delirious Cajun bacon cheeseburger slice of pizza. Abide with a pie while watching Allan the Landlord's dance quintet (his cycle) -- and don't forget the Creedence!

  • The CBGB

Chicken, broccoli, garlic & basil pesto (& other morsels for uplifting gormandizers)Thanks to a summer job at legendary bookstore Cinemabilia, where members of Television, The Void Oids, The Marbles & The Mumps all worked, TB Founder Phil Hartman was at CBGB's from the very beginning. This slice celebrates the gritty, grimey birthplace of punk rock with Chicken, Broccoli, Garlic and Basil pesto -- and honors Lenny Kaye: guitar hero, rock historian, Patti's partner in crime and all-round good guy (just Ask the Angels).

  • The Divine

Capicola, red onions, jalapenos & mozzarellaWe've loved John Waters since seeing a midnight show of Pink Flamingos in the '70's, and even more after he autographed his book for us: See you in Hell! This pie -- spicy, meaty, and well... divine -- is an homage to John's much-lamented, late, great muse.

  • Emily Litella

Breaded eggplant, sweet red pepper pesto, ricotta & mozzarellaNever mind! The character of Emily Litella sprang from the mind of comic genius Gilda Radner, whose Weekend Update commentaries were a highlight of early Saturday Night Live shows. The pizza Emily Litella, with yummy eggplant and pesto, sprang from our heart as a tribute to one of the funniest women to ever grace a screen small or large.

  • Meat the Mets

Sweet Italian sausage, creole chicken, Zoe's all natural pepperoni, jalapenos, ricotta & mozzarellaLong-suffering fans since '62, season ticket holders since '84, and pizza purveyors at Citi Field from '12-'18, our relationship with the Mets demonstrates a loyalty bordering on psychosis. Riffing off the title of the best theme song in sports, we're proud to present this meaty tribute which makes fans everywhere say Ya Gotta Believe!

  • Super Newman

Capicola, sopressata, sweet Italian sausage, ricotta & mozzarellaIt's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's a malevolent mailman who controls the information! Celebrate Kramer's sidekick and Jerry's nemesis (actor Wayne Knight) with this meaty, saucy daily special.

  • Big Maybelle

Creole chicken, Zoe's all natural pepperoni & fresh garlic on a white pieThe Two Books playlist is as unique as the recipe for our pizzas, and features lots of joyful R & B. This slice is full of soul, just like Big Maybelle, the lady who inspired it!

  • Vegan Pizzas

  • V for Vegan

Artichokes, red onions & wild mushrooms with a criss cross of sweet red pepper pesto & basil pesto & Daiya non-dairy cheeseViva la queso-lucion! Inspired by the promise of Occupy Wall Street (Sadly unrealized), V for Vegan debuted in the fall of 2011, and fed many an occupier. Featuring Daiya's tapioca-based vegan cheese and a revolutionary criss-cross of pestos, V for Vegan has become a favorite of vegans and non-vegans alike.

  • Earth Mother

Organic fresh spinach, roasted garlic, roasted peppers, wild mushrooms, red onion & marinara sauceKudos to Bette Midler, who helped save the community gardens of the Lower East Side. Back in the '70's community gardens blossomed between the Lower East Side's burnt-out buildings, but many were in desperate danger of being sold to developers... until Better Midler and her NY Restoration Project stepped in to save the day. For that - not to mention her early gigs in the gay bath houses of the East Village - we consecrated our classic veggie pizza in her honor.
