★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1An absolute favorite! We come here every month or so, especially after a day at the beach, for a single scoop of whatever flavors seem to be popular. Friendly staff, delicious toppings, and plenty of seating inside and out if you want to enjoy your ice cream onsite.
August 09 · Dina R. D'AlessandroThe original location for Van Leeuwen. I love how they added the colorful quarts of ice cream to go. Sometimes they have weird flavors like mac and cheese. I love the honeycomb flavor the best.
May 19 · Stephanie ChengI'm already in love with Van Leeuwen but this location is just the best! Its so spacious and one of the only ones with a lot of seating. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!
August 10 · Daija SpauldingI’m always mid on Van Leeuwen the flavors are a bit funky/artisnal and I just want normal ice cream. But it’s once of the few options in NYC so has to do on those summer nights when you want a cold treat
July 01 · Maddy AThe ice cream is 🔥🔥🔥 but I’m turned off by a few aspects of their product. First, the price. It costs more than any other pint ice cream, which I still pay because it’s really good. But today I realized that it is not even a pint! It’s 14oz. I’m sure they thought most people would not even notice but I’ve been eating pint ice creams my whole life, and I’m serious about my ice cream so I noticed. This is a smart marketing strategy but it feels a bit shady to and deceitful to me.
