★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I stopped by Veselka at Grand Central and tried the cheese omelette and their sandwich. It was hearty, flavorful, and cooked just right, with a great balance of gooey melted cheese. The omelette came with a toast—which was an excellent side. The bread was warm and perfectly toasted. Service was quick and friendly, which was perfect for the busy terminal setting. The atmosphere was lively, but still comfortable enough to enjoy the meal. A great spot for a quick and satisfying breakfast in the heart of Manhattan. Must try their omelettes! One of the best I’ve had in the city.
June 04 · Sushmita KadamWonderfully extensive menu. So enjoyed the stuffed cabbage and potato pancakes. Took home some meat borscht and baklava for later. Tastes homemade. The beet/horseradish slaw is in a league all its own. Wow!
August 27 · Laurel CrossSurprised I hadn’t noticed this spot before—tucked away on the lower level of Grand Central, right by the men’s room (not ideal, but it’s a grab-and-go stall). Tried Ukrainian food for the first time here, and the braised beef pierogi was surprisingly excellent: crisp outside, juicy and flavorful inside. Looks like dumplings, tastes completely different. Can’t wait to visit their main restaurant next. A gem for a quick, unique bite in Midtown.
May 31 · Yunong ShiI really enjoyed it. The food is a bit unique for me since I don’t usually eat this type of cuisine, but I liked it a lot. We were about to catch a train and only had 15 minutes, and they prepared everything very quickly. Can’t say much about the atmosphere since it’s at the station, but overall a very good experience.
August 22 · Max NoNameSome reviews I wish I had more info to make a full educated review as I just went to the smaller version at GCS and only got perogies. They were tasty🤣. Nice crispy coating, fresh sour cream, I would try more flavors for sure and go to the full restaurant. As an amuse bouche it certainly leaves me wanting more 😄
