Wonder Introduce
Welcome to the exciting world of Wonder in Pleasantville, a revolutionary concept that has changed the way Westchester County approaches family dinner, takeout, and high-quality dining. Located conveniently at 70 Memorial Plaza, Wonder isn't just one restaurant; it's a new kind of "fast fine" food hall that gathers the menus of over 20 acclaimed restaurants and celebrity-chef partners—like Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson, and Michael Symon—all under one roof. This innovative model is specifically designed for the modern New Yorker, allowing you to combine diverse cuisines into a single, seamless order.
Gone are the days of debating where to order from when one person craves barbecue and another wants gourmet pizza. At Wonder, you can mix and match dishes from brands like the famed Tejas Barbecue from Texas, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, and the celebrated Di Fara Pizza from Brooklyn, all in one transaction. This vertical integration—where the company handles everything from preparation to its own fleet of couriers—promises made-to-order quality and quick delivery times, ensuring your food arrives fresh and hot.
The Pleasantville location represents a significant expansion for the Wonder Group, offering a curated, diverse culinary experience to the greater New York region. It's built to cater primarily to off-premise dining—delivery and pickup—though limited dine-in and self-ordering kiosk options are also available for those on the go. Whether you are seeking a quick, casual lunch, a complex family dinner, or simply comfort food for a solo evening, Wonder is designed to be your one-stop solution for a no-compromise mealtime.

### Features and Highlights
What truly sets Wonder apart is its groundbreaking food hall concept—a feature that provides an unprecedented level of variety and convenience for the demanding New York palate:
- Multi-Cuisine Ordering in One Cart: The core feature is the ability to mix and match items from over 20 separate restaurant brands and celebrity-chef menus in a single order and a single payment. This solves the classic problem of differing dinner cravings.
- Celebrity and Iconic Chef Partnerships: The experience includes menus created by world-renowned chefs such as Bobby Flay (Steak), José Andrés (Spanish Cuisine), Marcus Samuelsson (Streetbird fried chicken), and Michael Symon (Yasas Greek/Mediterranean), alongside legendary institutions like Di Fara Pizza and Magnolia Bakery desserts.
- "Fast Fine" Quality Focus: Wonder's model uses a centralized commissary for ingredient prep, but the final, hands-on cooking is completed in the local Pleasantville kitchen. This vertical integration aims to maintain a high standard of food quality, which is crucial for delivering what they term "fast fine" dining.
- Diverse Culinary Selection: The virtual kitchens cover a vast array of cuisines including Italian, Greek, Mexican, Middle Eastern (Maydan), BBQ (Tejas Barbecue), Asian, burgers, wings (Wing Trip), poke bowls (Hanu Poke), and more, catering to every possible craving.
- Speed and Efficiency: Orders placed are typically ready for pickup or delivery within a short timeframe (often noted around 15-30 minutes), making it a truly 'quick bite' or 'comfort food' option without the typical wait times of multiple separate restaurant orders. The system emphasizes ordering ahead, especially via the app or kiosk, to minimize in-store wait times.

### What is Worth Choosing: A Local Perspective
For New Yorkers considering Wonder, the sheer variety and quality promise of the chef-driven menus are the primary draw. Based on local buzz and customer feedback, there are several standout items and experiences worth exploring.
The Texas-style BBQ from Tejas Barbecue is a highly recommended must-try. Items like the Brisket and Pulled Pork, slow-smoked for over 12 hours, are celebrated for their tenderness and smoky flavor. Pairing a classic Tejas Brisket Sandwich with the unique, slightly sweet Carrot Soufflé side offers a perfect introduction to this brand.
Another local favorite appears to be the pizza. Customers have specifically called out the thin-crust pies from Alanza Pizza for being fresh and highly recommendable. For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert offerings from Room for Dessert—which features items from iconic bakeries like Magnolia Bakery (their famous Banana Pudding is available) and Four & Twenty Blackbirds—are a fantastic way to cap off any meal, especially since you can add them to your main course order easily.
The "mix and match" capability is truly the reason to choose Wonder. If your family has divergent tastes—say, one member wants a steak from The Mainstay by Marc Murphy (like the NY Strip Steak) and another prefers a Middle Eastern Kebab from Maydan—Wonder eliminates the logistical headache of ordering from multiple places. While some initial growing pains were noted by customers regarding the consistency of sides like fries and wings, the overall model of high-quality, signature dishes prepared by celebrity-chef brands in one spot remains unparalleled in the takeout/delivery space for Westchester.
To maximize your experience, we highly recommend utilizing the Wonder app for ordering. Not only does it streamline the process, but as one customer noted, the system is designed to have your order ready for fast pickup, minimizing your wait time in-store. Wonder at Pleasantville is more than just a restaurant; it’s a modern dining solution designed for the diverse and fast-paced life in the New York metropolitan area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Feedback from June 19, 2025, order at 8:25pm picked up at 8:40pm.Dinner10-20 per person this time3*/5*Order this time around was definitely better than last order. Totally recommend the chicken sandwich from steelbird.. chicken was definitely hot sandwich on a cold pre toasted brioche bun.. Onion rings from steel bird were way better than the ones from mainstays last time even though they seemed as if they were sitting under a taster for sometime..Pizza was thin crust pie and quite fresh.. totally recommend pizza’s from alanzo pizza..——————————————————Feedback from Apr 24th 2025, order at 8:35pm picked up at 8:55 pm.DINNER20-30 per person1*/5*Amazing UI experience with wonder app. The model is amazing.. order was placed and order was ready to pickup in 15 mins.Coming to my true experience on my order resulting me to give ⭐️.. this is truely our experience.. I really wish they change turn this around..Starting with our chips order: Worst chips ever.. I was surprised that I paid $5 for the old batch of chips repackaged for my pickup order.. unbelievably chips has smell of old oil.. 😫Now regarding wings: Was very eager to order wings.. but totally surprised at the order.. sooo brick dry wings.. tandoori dry rub made it even worse.. on other hand second order of peri peri sauce was left as if it was a bottle sauce pour over reheated wings.. totally not worth the money.. I was totally disappointed factoring famous chef names behind the scenes.. 😡Utterly shocked as this glorified fast food order of chocolate pudding.. our kids hated it so much that they didn’t want to eat more that 1/5 of the order.. kids leaving out pudding.. that talks by itself..Wow.! Now to Fries which was pure nonsense.. McD fries by large wins over these fries by value taste presentation etc. what a shame.! 🤬Here is the question I couldn’t assess: how long would this glorified fast food - wonder food hall survive over true fast food value and experience..????I am so glad I had coupon for 30% discount. I would be really pissed if I payed full price..
June 20 · Venkata KService was very slow ordering through the kiosk. Friendly but short staff. The dining area is clean and the bathroom is on site. So order ahead, to avoid the wait. The food tastes good. Tap into the QR code to check out the menu.
March 26 · A CThe concept is great, but trying to offer 200 different things means execution is exactly what u expect. Inventory issues so what I ordered was not available. Also I ordered a noodle dish, it was undercooked, tasted like chemicals and out of a bad frozen dinner.
September 19 · P CFantastic First Visit & Outstanding Service from Omar! This was our first time visiting Royal Greens by Wonder in Pleasantville, NY — and we were thoroughly impressed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant is clean, bright, and has a modern, welcoming vibe. We loved that it’s a cashless establishment and offers an easy, tech-forward ordering system with a wide variety of food options. We arrived at 8:55 PM, just five minutes before closing, but were still greeted with a friendly smile and warm customer service. I quickly placed an order for the Royal Caesar Salad with chicken — the process took no more than three minutes. My husband, being a little extra, was in the middle of customizing a Cobb salad when he turned to ask what I wanted a soda. In that short moment, the ordering tablet automatically logged him out — and by 9:01 PM, the system had shut down, no longer allowing new orders.Enter Omar, who immediately came over to assist. He was incredibly understanding, polite, and went above and beyond even though the restaurant was technically closed. He apologized for the inconvenience and generously provided us with a promo code for a future order — which was much appreciated since my husband was visibly heartbroken over that Cobb salad! What truly stood out was Omar taking the time to share the story behind the restaurant and its unique concept. His professionalism, knowledge, and friendly demeanor truly elevated our experience. We told him they absolutely need to bring this concept to the Washington, D.C. area — we’d be regulars for sure!Thank you, Omar, for turning what could’ve been a disappointing moment into a memorable first visit. We’ll definitely be back!Michelle Miree
June 25 · Michelle MireeThis is an interesting concept in food delivery. I assume the restaurants are all in one facility. You can order from more than one restaurant in a single delivery. The food varies depending on which restaurant you order from. The app has ratings for individual restaurants built in. It's worth a try.
