★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Delicious croissant! It was fresh out of the oven, flaky and buttery- definitely recommend. My only suggestion would be to make the bakery a bit cozier and display the croissants on the inside with the other products.
July 13 · Antonia N.This is a unique coffee and pastry shop. You can see into the kitchen and watch them bake, super cool. They have a good assortment of coffee options and pastries/desserts. The service was great and everything I tried tasted super fresh. Pricing is pretty good for unique items they have here. There is good amount of seating here but is best as a carryout especially for breakfast on weekdays before work.
February 13 · Najeeb AbdullahApparently a global brand, which opened in UES. We tried the milk bread with cream, sugar Cramique, chocolate Merveilleux, and coffees.I believe they are most well known for the Merveilleux - this was delicious, cream and chocolate shaving on meringue. We had the sugar Cramique when it just came out of the oven; it was really good as well, but very floury, so wasn't sure if it would be good when cooled down. The milk bread with rum cream was a let down... The cream had separated a bit and the bread didn't feel too special.I would go back for the Merveilleuxs.
April 14 · A. K.Overall rating: 4.7Price: $8I stumbled by here when I was in the area. The window display got me! Everything looked so delicious. I must have went during off peak because this place needs to be more popular. Everyone was baking and I was very shy on what to order so I just waited until the staff was done. The waffle vanilla thing was not good. It was not a real waffle and just a pattern. I also got the milk donut I think. It was sooo good.
May 04 · Olivia NI tried one of their "mini mereveilleuxs" ($3.40 including tax) which I found to have little flavor, it looked pretty. The bakery is very attractive, which has a large chandelier (pictured). I tried their raisin bread pudding that looks much thinner than a standard restaurant bread pudding (pictured). I found that it had no noticeable taste. Some of this upper east side French bakery's staff don't understand any more than simple English. At one of their other locations I tried their chocolate croissant, which was very good.
