Bianca Restaurant & Bar Introduce
For Connecticut diners searching for a truly authentic, yet modern, Italian culinary experience, Bianca Restaurant & Bar on Greenwich Avenue offers a sophisticated and engaging destination. Situated in the heart of Greenwich, Bianca stands out by focusing on the rich provincial delicacies of the Campania region, specifically Naples, Italy. This is not your standard Italian-American restaurant; it is a heartfelt tribute to genuine Italian home-cooking, elevated with a contemporary approach.
Co-founded by Neapolitan friends, restaurateur Rosario Procino and acclaimed Executive Chef Raffaele Ronca—a winner of the Food Network show "Chopped"—Bianca brings a distinct New York City vibe and a commitment to authenticity to the Connecticut dining scene. The focus is on using fresh, high-quality ingredients, house-made pastas, and carefully curated dishes that transport guests straight to Italy. From the cozy and trendy atmosphere to the attentive service, the entire experience is designed to be memorable, making it a favorite for locals seeking both comfort and culinary adventure.
The menu is designed to highlight the authentic flavors of Southern Italy, going beyond the typical fare. Specialties include house-made pasta dishes like the classic Vongole or the rich Amatriciana made with guanciale (pork cheek) as per the true recipe. The "Our Breads" section offers an interesting take on bread and dough preparations, reminiscent of their owners' past success in Neapolitan pizza, but with a new challenge in mind. Whether you are enjoying their delicious appetizers like the Polpette di Vitello (veal meatballs) or indulging in an Entrée like the whole Branzino or Bistecca, Bianca promises a delightful journey through Neapolitan cuisine.
The lively, cozy, and trendy ambiance, combined with an excellent bar program, ensures that Bianca is a place for more than just a quick meal—it’s a sophisticated spot to gather, enjoy great drinks, and savor well-crafted food.

Someone ordered a lychee martini, very good!!!The burger was huge & enjoyed by our teen aged burger lover. We also enjoyed the grilled shrimp salad, really tasty! Grilled chicken was really wonderful too! Vongole pasta was yummy & just right portion size.We would have to return to explore more of the menu!
June 17 · TomQnelThe BEST authentic Italian food. Everything was perfect — from the ambiance, to the drinks, to the service, to the food. So so good!! Also super accommodating!! I’m vegan and I had so many incredible options. Genuinely a 12/10. Can’t wait to be back!
August 01 · Tara Rose SchreiberWonderful Italian restaurant. Very rich Italian food, still almost authentic. A real Italian cuisine experience for Italians away from home, and amazing Italian experience for those who will go there eventually soon! Amatriciana wonderful. Bolognese very very nice. Perfect Brunch options. Gnocchi alla Sorrentina state of the art.
March 24 · eustachio vincenzo gravelaThis was the last minute decision. We didn't have a reservation but we did get two seats at the bar. Which was amazing because we got to talk to the bartender who was awesome. We got to watch our food prepared because the kitchen is right there. The food and the drinks were amazing. I would definitely recommend going. But if you want to sit at the table and you need to make a reservation. We went on a Wednesday and they were packed. The place was not too loud, even though there were no spaces left empty. Everybody was very attentive to our needs.
May 05 · Lisa-MarieGreat authentic Italian spot on Greenwich Avenue. They have high quality ingredients and good recipes. I specifically recommend their mushroom tagliatelle with shaved black truffle. In addition their also have a lot of drink choices and a bar seating with a nice vibe. We keep coming back to this restaurant again and again for its atmosphere and the quality of food and service!
