The bakery’s reputation is built on its artisanal approach to baking. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My local favorite for pastries such as the Strawberry Twinkle Tart and the Nutella Twist, friendly and fast service. This is a smaller take-out spot compared to the other locations I’ve been to (including the Melbourne location) but their baked goods are always fresh and the manager Andre is never without a smile on his face and a welcoming attitude!I stop in when I need gifts as well since their pastries are always a hit! They offer freshly baked sourdough and whole breads and cold drinks / coffee.
March 20 · Ava BaiI’m trying out different cafes in the area. I’m also in need of fresh sourdough bread. So Bourke Street was on the list of recommended places. Maybe I should check out their other locations instead because this one in Rockefeller didn’t seem… nice? It was particularly empty when you look at it from the outside. I had to pass by it twice to check if there was even staff behind the counter. There was no one, and I thought it was closed. I was going to head to another coffee place, but a lady was able to open the door and step in. I followed. Then, that’s when a staff member came out and stood behind the counter. Not the most pleasant in the area, which kind of made me think that’s why the other cafes in the area have customers and this didn’t.I ordered my coffee and looked around. I did make a mistake by accidentally paying for the other customer’s order as I thought the screen was reflecting my order. The staff was making my coffee and when she got back to the counter, she looked upset, and I apologized. I was ready to make any change or pay for the hassle, but the other customer and I had the same order amount, so it was settled.I would still want to try out the other locations because I have read the reviews of the brand. But if you are in the Rockefeller area, best to go check out other cafes.
May 20 · pia c.I love everything about this place, very friendly environment, excellent service - all of it! Their croissants, cakes are all insanely fresh and are my favorite. I would highly recommend others to visit!! Also I would highly recommend their Carrot Walnut Cake as well and their Caramel Latte!! I love this place and I can’t want to come back.
January 07 · Jahmeer McDuffieFood is nice, but every time Ive went, the service was poor. Staff is not friendly and come across standoffish. No exchange of words. Not even a hello. Paying via kiosk wouldve felt more welcoming than the cold cashiers. Makes me not want to come back.
February 09 · RaineThey finally started carrying the sausage rolls but don’t have the tomato sauce to dip them in :(
