The story of Casasalvo is one of passion and culinary heritage. Beyond the coffee itself, Casasalvo is a place designed for a moment of pause in a fast-paced city. The atmosphere is deliberately created to be warm and inviting, providing a comfortable space for solo diners to enjoy a quiet moment or for friends to meet up. The focus on authenticity extends to the food menu, which features an array of Italian-inspired quick bites and pastries. While the menu is concise, each item is chosen with care to complement the coffee selection perfectly. It's the kind of place that elevates the daily ritual of a morning coffee into a small, cherished experience.

For New Yorkers in search of an authentic Italian coffee experience, this is the place to go. It's the kind of spot that prioritizes flavor and tradition over trends. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I've wanted to try this place since they opened in the UWS.Got two espresso and they were very well made. Unfortunately, the bignè I tried was very dry and definitely not fresh.I'll give this place another try for breakfast.
October 09 · Alessandro FratiCoffee that taste the way it should. I should mention the baba. The secret ingredient is rum. Pairs well with a cappuccino. Might be the only logical choice for mornings. : )
April 03 · Alex EspinosaUpdate: i went out of my way to stop by and was so excited because i hadn’t been in a while. Saw they were closed despite their hours with no sign or notification. Wrote them on IG and they told me they’re closed for construction (FYI) and no apology whatsoever. They actually “loved” my comment saying i showed up and it was closed and i was sad. Kind of disappointing response or lack there of. I hope whoever runs their Ig is not someone who works at the cafe or an owner.Love the music, the food is AMAZING and every time we go in there (mostly Saturday mornings) we have such a nice experience with whoever’s working there. Loving that this is becoming our neighborhood spot - highly recommend to anyone in the area. Also PS we are Italian and their stuff is very authentic.
June 04 · Sondra TusaStopped by today for some early morning treats. We had a chocolate eclair, chocolate croissant, and a hot chocolate (yes I love chocolate!). All 3 items were amazing! Super fresh, the employees were so kind explaining all the options to us. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their stuff!
