Cotto Introduce
In the ever-evolving landscape of airport dining, Cotto at LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal C stands out as a pleasant and welcome surprise. Moving far beyond the typical grab-and-go options, Cotto brings a taste of modern Italian cuisine to a place where it's least expected. This restaurant offers a comfortable escape from the airport hustle, providing travelers with a sit-down dining experience that feels both refined and accessible. It’s a place where you can relax, enjoy a quality meal, and start your trip off on a high note, proving that airport food can indeed be a destination in itself.
Cotto's menu is a celebration of Italian staples, offering a range of dishes from hearty pastas and classic pizzas to fresh salads and delicious antipasti. The food is expertly prepared, and as one customer review notes, it feels like a welcome discovery in a terminal. The restaurant’s commitment to quality is evident in the positive feedback from patrons, who praise everything from the meatballs to the pizzas. The ability to find such well-crafted food in a casual, high-traffic environment is what makes Cotto a true highlight of the new LaGuardia experience.
What truly sets Cotto apart, however, is the service. Despite the fast-paced nature of an airport, Cotto's staff is known for being patient, attentive, and accommodating. This personal touch, highlighted by a customer who had a special request for a pizza and extra sauce, transforms the dining experience from a simple transaction into a memorable interaction. This level of customer care, combined with the quality of the food, makes Cotto a highly recommended stop for solo diners, couples, and groups alike.
Cotto is strategically located within LaGuardia Airport, specifically in LGA Terminal C, Terminal C, Queens, NY 11371. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s such a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant like this at the airport. Since there’s only one staff member, you might need to look for them for a bit, but they’re very patient and attentive. We ordered a pizza that wasn’t on the menu, but after some discussion, the chef kindly made it for us—much appreciated! Oh, and their fries are fresh and delicious too.
November 21 · Becca LJuan at Cotto at the LGA terminal C location was very attentive while visiting the terminal on our way back home from our NYC visit. It’s the airport so it’s a little more than if you got it somewhere else but I was very happy with the meatball Parmesan and the wedge salad my wife and I got as well as the Long Island iced tea. It’s New York and is not Burger King and you get what you pay for. They were all very good here. Juan was able to happily accommodate getting a little side of extra marinara sauce for my wife’s sandwich. Was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend. Enjoyed our visit.
June 26 · Thomas FrainVery impressive for airport food. As a frequent traveler, this did not feel like airport food. Prices are similar to any airport, and after leaving NYC, are similar to restaurants we visited on this trip. I hope more airports will begin to achieve this level of food and service.
July 28 · Vasil KimayevThe only visible sitdown food option between Gates 64-68, food was decent for airport dining places. Prices were on the high side (e.g. $23 for an appetizer) but not unusual for airport food. My Margherita pizza tasted a bit bland (I was expecting the tomato sauce to be more flavorful), but the crust was better than most Italian restaurants I have even to. The calamari appetizer is mixed in with crusted fried vegetables like what you find at Japanese restaurants, so that is unique. It was large enough to be an entrée so order another dish only if you are super hungry. My food came within 15 mins of ordering despite the place being completely packed.
May 16 · Good CapitalistVery accommodating. Got here early before my flight for a drink. It ended up getting delayed and so I had more time to try the food as well. The menu has a large variety of food, drink and also has dessert options. The bar also has charging ports. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The chocolate molten lava cake was really good!
