★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Disos sandwich truck is my go-to place for one delicious chicken cutlet hero! Sammy the bull w/ sweet peppers is on the menu at least once per week. I decided to try the Fat Pete hero and did not disappoint. Staff is always friendly and the belly is always full.
April 11 · James A.Cash Only! I was there just before 12:00 noon. So, the line wasn't bad. I ordered from the nice lady. It was ready in a few minutes.First visit to the truck on Park and 46th...? I tried the large, "Buffalo" ($15). It is a big sandwich with quality ingredients and a fair price for what it is. The bread was good. But, it was a little tough to chew. The cutlets are thin and lightly battered, the cheese was sliced perfectly, the Buffalo sauce did not overwhelm the sandwich, I asked for a light amount of blue cheese dressing, the grilled onions were tasty, and there was a subtle portion of arugula. I would ask for more arugula when ordering this one again. A well-balanced sandwich. I look forward to trying another option soon.
September 07 · aandgdesigngroupAs an intern in NYC, I went to the Bryant Park location on Friday. It was amazing! The sandwiches — especially the crispy chicken — tasted so good. The spicy chicken is the best! Highly recommended. Thanks, Eater, for the best-value sandwiches in town
July 02 · amani rimaaBread is consistently stale while the chicken cutlet seems like it is leftover from last week’s batch (dry, thin, and chewy - in a bad way, like rubber). The most recent sandwich I had was nearly inedible due to the stale bread (basically cut the inside of my mouth) and the dry and rubber like cutlet. Used to be a solid spot that I have visited frequently but my last couple sandwiches here have been poor. Certainly not worth the wait anymore
July 14 · Joseph LeeFood was great. Got the spicy chicken but wasn’t really spicy per se, still tasted great nevertheless! Those planning on visiting during 12-1 pm on weekdays, be prepared for a 20 mins minimum wait due to the long queue. The guys working the counter still put out the sandwiches with a smile despite the order backlog.
