I had to visit Eatatblue after seeing the hype on social media. Really nothing to rave about, however it was a nice experience. Upon approaching the place I was greeted by two homeless men whom both I gave a $1 and one opened the door for me. Upon entering I grabbed the attention of one of the waitresses who called another waitress over immediately to wipe the chairs and table. I sat down and within 2mins was given a menu... Great selection! I ordered the Mango Mojito which was EVERYTHING!!!!! I also ordered Snapper with a side of Avocadoes and green plantains... Added some green sauce to my snapper, sprinkled it with lime and it was delicious. Nothing was overly or under seasoned, the food and portions were just right. I could tell as it was getting later the vibe picked up more... Music and customers in and out and the homeless. You can tell they don't mind the homeless coming in to sit at the tables to wait for a pastry or coffee... Although it doesn't look great for business I can understand it as the entire area is full of homeless or people who fell hard on their luck, so guessing those who enter the diner/restaurant are regulars. Either way I would revisit. Nice little spot - Chantell Ellison
