The food menu, while seemingly simple, is executed with a level of care that elevates it above typical pub fare. The "Ale House Burger" is a classic choice, and the appetizers like "Fried Pickles" and "Buffalo Wings" are perfect for sharing. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Henry Street Ale House is such a great place to just chill and have a few beers. It's got the exact right vibe as far as what I'm looking at for a bar. All the staff I talked to were super interesting and engaging. Plus, as you can see, a perfect Guinness pour!Highly recommended.
August 17 · Robin YoungmanThis place has the best fried chicken sandwich in Brooklyn. It’s thin and very crispy. Always consistent, been ordering it for years even after I moved to a new neighborhood. Highly recommend!
September 05 · Jamie GyftakisVery cool spot for a pint and some good bar food while watching your favorite game on the big screen
May 18 · Eric LupoThe girlfriend and I weren’t terribly impressed with this place. All the food we got was not in line with what we had expected. We were especially disappointed by the chicken tenders, which were nothing like the stereotypical chicken tender you’re going to get anywhere else. They’re battered with tiny (I mean tiny) slivers of chicken. Don’t think we will go back if we are craving bar food of any kind. Fried pickles were decent though.
May 12 · Abhishek JNot only does this place charge $16 for a can of beer (Heady Topper) but they wash the glasses and then place them upside down on the dirty bar. See pic. Those are “clean” glasses.Someone call the health inspector.
