★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food here is surprisingly good and definitely exceeded our expectations. The only real complaint is that the fish tasted frozen rather than fresh, even though it was nicely presented. On the other hand, the sweet rice was absolutely delicious—soft, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We will definitely come back again soon to try more dishes, especially the homemade soup, which looked very inviting. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with room for small improvements!
September 11 · Chen ZhouThis place was amazing! They’re open super late—until 5am, I think—which was perfect after the Stray Kids concert. You order through a tablet, and everything is made fresh. We ordered the spare ribs and tomato and eggs (along with dumplings and Mapp tofu not pictured). They’re family style dishes so you’ll need to add a side of rice. Service was quick, and the staff were really friendly. The decor is stylish, and there’s even a second floor with extra seating. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!
June 24 · ChrissyThis restaurant offers great specialty food from Fuzhou. Their specialty is in soup! You can noodle soup in stone bowl here (to keep the soup hot), or you can have soup they made from bone broth. The soup is made for individual portion except for noddle soup. We tried the lamb meat soup and it was so good. They managed to eliminate the odor of the lamb so the soup becomes very pleasant in the light flavor of the herbs. The meat with bones was tender and lean. We also tried the Xiao Long Bao, and they were good, juicy and soft. The noodles with peanut sauce is definitely authentic and spot on - nice flavor, small enough portion. If you are adventure enough, add in a little hot chili oil and you will definitively love it! The rice noodles in fish sauce is also tasty and light. The place has Chinese writing on the front door so it worries those who don’t speak the language but their menus are in English and their waiting staff speak good English too. The place looks small with a few tables on the main level but they do have the loft which has another 8 or 10 tables.
April 12 · Thai Hung NguyenRecently, I visited this Fuzhou restaurant on Prince Street in Flushing, New York, which I have been longing for. It specializes in stews, stir-fries, cold dishes and Fuzhou powder. Having a stew pot at home has made me realize the charm of soup again. Whether you want to maintain your health or relieve your cravings and homesickness, this restaurant will not disappoint you!
