What is Worth Choosing
King Tut Food Truck is highly regarded for its substantial and generously portioned platters. Customers frequently praise the quantity of food provided for the price, noting that a single order can often be enough for two people, or provide enough for a meal with leftovers. The combination platters, in particular, are often highlighted in reviews for being "absolutely loaded," providing great value. This generous approach to portion size is a major selling point and a key reason why many customers return.
While the value and portion sizes are a significant draw, it is important to be mindful of pricing transparency. A few customer reviews have indicated that prices can sometimes vary, so it is a good practice to confirm the cost of your order before paying. This simple step can help ensure a smooth transaction and a positive overall experience. Despite this, the overwhelming sentiment from repeat customers is one of satisfaction, with many praising the quality of the food and the friendly demeanor of the staff. The gentleman running the stand has been described as "super friendly," which adds a personal and welcoming touch to the customer experience. The food truck’s focus on serving authentic and flavorful quick bites, combined with its excellent location and generous portions, makes it a must-try for anyone in the Midtown area looking for a fulfilling and quick meal that doesn’t break the bank.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 12nd time at this cart and nothing but good things to say. Combo platter was absolutely loaded, the gentleman running the stand was super friendly! $12 fed 2 people with some for later!
April 09 · Joe AlBEWARE. If you don’t ask the price before hand, they will charge you whatever they feel like. I ended up having to pay $12 for a skewer with four pieces of chicken on it.
September 02 · Sommaya H.Ibrahim makes some mouth-wateringly flavorful chicken-lamb-rice. We had the combo platter and I can barely finish the small plates at any of the hawker trucks in Manhattan. This one I could've wolfed down a large. The rice is spice with saffron and the meat is marinated and tender. He claims he makes 200 plates a day, and this is believable from the line at lunch time located just beside the plaza on W 50th and opp the 6th Ave Radio City Music Hall. Must try!
September 14 · Vazir FatehiSurprisingly, I couldn't even finish it and threw it out. Chicken tasted bad and it had the worst veggies combination ( broccoli and squash in gyro sandwich). Worst gyro i ever had in NYC. BAD.
December 25 · Timur MWhat a great gem! We tried the chicken kebab, the chicken over rice, and the lamb gyro. All of it was delicious! The vendor was funny and very personable, highly recommend trying his stand out!
