★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1After a long hiatus, I stopped by to get my very basic girl pad Thai with duck and Thai tea and I was wonderfully surprised with their new look! It’s so pretty and bright. Always been a good dining experience but the new look definitely brought a warm feeling along with my take out.
September 03 · Raydime PolancoTaste of Siam in Chelsea is a true standout. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced — the kind that makes you pause after the first bite. The curry was rich and comforting, the street food - crab fried rice- perfectly done, and the crispy duck unforgettable. The chef’s passion shows in every dish, and the warm service with a cozy vibe makes it one of the best Thai spots in the city. 🌿🍜
September 10 · Dina La FonteIf you’re craving delicious, authentic Thai food in NYC, Koon – A Taste of Siam is a must-visit! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, especially from the amazing server Note, who made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.I ordered the beef basil rice and it was bursting with bold, savory flavors. The basil was fresh and did NOT over power the dish. The crispy spring rolls were perfectly golden and packed with fresh veggies- a great quick appetizer. Note brought out a mango sticky-rice dessert. It was a sweet, tropical dream that ended the meal on a very high Note (
August 11 · H. Luiz Presents🏵 Koon Taste of Siam is an absolute gem💎 and one of the best authentic Thai restaurants I’ve tried in NYC! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed—the staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and has that comforting “feel like home” vibe that’s perfect whether you’re dining solo or with friends.🍽 We started with the Peanut Dumpling and Chicken Satay as appetizers. The dumplings were soft and savory with just the right touch of sweetness from the peanut filling, and the satay was tender and flavorful with a rich peanut sauce that we couldn’t get enough of.For the main dishes, the Moo Krob Prik Khing🐷 was a standout—crispy pork belly stir-fried in a spicy red curry paste with green beans. It had the perfect texture and heat, packed with deep Thai flavors. The Black Pepper Beef🥩 was another hit—tender beef slices in a rich, peppery sauce that had us scraping the plate clean. And you must try their Thai Green Tea! 🍵 It’s hard to find a truly good one in NYC, but this one hit all the right notes—smooth, slightly sweet, and aromatic. The perfect way to cool down after the spicy dishes. If you’re craving real Thai flavors, this place delivers in every way. The dishes taste just like the ones I’ve had in Thailand, and the whole experience—from food to service to ambiance—is top-tier.Highly recommend 👍 Koon Taste of Siam for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. Can’t wait to come back! 🫶
June 17 · Paulina L.Great food, service, and atmosphere. I got the Mango Spritzer, which was bigger than expected but really good and not too sweet. Also got the Pad See Ew and added crispy pork on top, and the Peking Duck egg rolls both were both great. The only thing I didn’t like were the bar chairs, which were a little low compared to the height of the bar, but no big deal. The owner was really friendly and I will definitely be back.
