Lewis & The Lamb Introduce
In the bustling, fast-paced heart of New York City, finding a place that feels like a comfortable escape can be a rare and wonderful thing. While a pub in the middle of Midtown might seem like an unlikely spot for a quiet moment, Lewis & The Lamb offers a charming and unique experience that feels like a well-kept secret. It's a pub that forgoes the sprawling layouts and extensive menus of larger venues in favor of a genuine, intimate atmosphere. As New Yorkers, we appreciate a place that is unapologetically itself, and Lewis & The Lamb embodies this with a friendly, no-frills approach to hospitality. It’s a spot where a great drink and a warm conversation take center stage, making it a perfect destination for those seeking a break from the city's relentless energy.
The appeal of Lewis & The Lamb is its authenticity. It’s not a place trying to be a fancy cocktail lounge or a sprawling sports bar. Instead, it embraces the core identity of a neighborhood pub: a comfortable, local space where patrons feel at home. The staff's welcoming nature and the owner's personal touch are what truly define the experience here. While the pub's smaller size might mean you'll have to get cozy, the trade-off is a genuine sense of camaraderie and an environment that fosters new connections and memorable nights. It’s a pub that proves the most important ingredient is always the people you share the space with.
The location of Lewis & The Lamb places it in a prime, though somewhat discreet, part of Midtown Manhattan. Its address at 1708-1720 Broadway, New York, NY 10019, USA, puts it in the vibrant Theater District, easily accessible for anyone visiting or working in the area. This location is a major advantage for those looking for a quick, convenient drink before a show or a casual spot to wind down after a long day. The pub is noted for being "hidden away in Park Central," which suggests a more secluded and intimate setting despite its central location. This makes it a great discovery for locals and visitors alike who are tired of generic, tourist-heavy venues. Given its Midtown address, it is very well-served by multiple subway lines and buses, making it an easy trip from almost anywhere in the city.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great little pub hidden away in park central, staff were warm and welcoming offering drinks on entry. My only complaint would be a lack of tables and chairs, when I mentioned to the owner that there were no chairs left she suggested that I “sit on the floor”. However Lewis is a lovely host and always makes time to chat to all her customers, great pub! Hoping to bring the kids here in the future :)
September 02 · Jasmine PreshoA night to remember at Lewis & The Lamb. Some odd characters and questionable chat but would go again.
September 02 · Nicola BrotherstonAbsolutely loved my time here, welcomed from the moment my pinky toe passed over the boundary into the land of the Lamb. Some would say join the sheep and follow the long line queuing up for quite the experience. xoxo data dobby
September 02 · Jemma ColeA pleasant and welcoming abode, with generous beverages and rather large bottles of wine. Whilst the gender ratio was questionable…the chat was worse.
September 02 · Will LancasterWent there the other day, clean tidy place but a little small if you ask me
