★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Have lived in NYC for over 20 years and have never tried Lombardi's. We wanted something new pizza wise so today was the day to finally experience Lombardi's. The pizza was very good, definitely within the top 5 or 6 NYC spots we've tried over the years and our dog even loved the crust! We did order takeout which took two plus hours to arrive. Next time we would dine here in person instead of waiting so long for delivery and in fairness, we live on the UWS so it is a long trip for delivery. All in all the pizza was certainly enjoyable.
August 24 · A ROld-school charm, coal-fired crust, and a slice of NYC history. Lombardi’s doesn’t mess around. This place is literally America’s first pizzeria (since 1905), and honestly, you can taste the legacy.I went with the rustic double pepperoni pizza, and it was spot on: crispy, slightly charred crust, bright tomato sauce, they use special pepperoni , gooey mozzarella, and fresh basil. No gimmicks—just really good pizza done right. The rigatoni and meatballs is also a must. The place is Cozy, busy, and buzzing with tourists and locals alike. You’ll probably wait a bit, but it moves fast and the staff keeps things running smoothly. Prices are a little higher than your corner slice joint, but this isn’t dollar pizza—it’s legendary pizza. You’ll love it!
May 29 · Michael ChahinLombardi’s will always be favorite pizza spot to go to! You can’t miss eating pizza here whenever you are from NY or out of state. Amazing pastas and dessert as well. Great Service as well!! There are so many Italian restaurants in NYC but this one, one of the best with warm and welcoming vibes! Must try!
August 21 · Hillary Kate SumabongEstablished in 1905, Historic pizzeria with charming, old-school vibe and simple but tasty pizzaLombardi’s is known as the first pizzeria in America, and it has a charming, old-school atmosphere — very different from the typical New York-style pizza. The coal-baked crust gives the pizza a unique flavor, and while the pies are simple rather than fancy, they are still very good and satisfying. The service is friendly, but the CASH-ONLY policy is something to keep in mind. Overall, it’s a nostalgic, tasty experience for anyone looking to taste a piece of pizza history.Simple, authentic, and full of character.
August 24 · Amin SameniStopped here on a whim and we were informed as soon as we entered that they only accept cash. Thankfully we’d be able to handle that, so we were seated. We ordered a house salad, a double pepperoni pizza, and a raspberry Italian soda. The salad wasn’t super special, but their creamy vinaigrette was the true star! The pizza was tasty and perfectly baked, but more cheese and a little less sauce would have made it perfect for us. The Italian soda was extremely refreshing and we look forward to trying the other flavors. At first glance it was a bit pale, but the flavor immediately put those doubts to rest!!The customer service was amazing and we definitely enjoyed our experience there. We walked out full, satisfied, and ready to take on the NYC heat!
