September 13 · Ms MJHad the chance to try this frozen yogurt shop on its 3 day of opening! We ended up waiting about a half hour or so, but when we got in really enjoyed the experience. The staff was welcoming and loved we could try a few of the flavors (6 total) before we filled our containers. You pay for it by weight and you can add as many toppings as you like. The flavor was pleasant and recommended trying the tart. The overall experience didn’t feel like it was anything super special given the hype and wait. But on a hot summer day - still really hit the spot.
August 09 · Ujesh VoraShort notes/TL;DR version: Froyo is $1.50 per oz which adds up fast. Froyo itself is creamier than other spots. Toppings are more varied than other froyo places in the past. Mango is by far the best flavor but the general tart and and raspberry are also excellent. Current seasonal flavor is a bad matcha/hopefully their seasonal flavors improve in time. This modern Frozen Yogurt/Froyo concept apparently has been popping up a lot on TikTok and Instagram with long lines daily and I can honestly see why after trying it. The concept is pretty simple. Take the old froyo from spots such as Red Mango or 16 Handles, make it from more quality ingredients, and offer more premium toppings such as different fruits and other things. We waited around maybe 15 to 20 minutes though this is partially because of how they operate. The friendly staff in there gives you samples of the yogurt before you try and only one person or one group if together is allowed to buy yogurt at the same time so there's a bit of a delay. The options in terms of froyo are the following- tart (standard,) raspberry, chocolate, vanilla, mango, and a seasonal flavor which in this case was matcha which is a collaboration with Blank Street Coffee of all places. I kind of find it a bit humorous that they collaborated with that terrible coffee/matcha place (which resulted in a not so good matcha which lacks flavor) but I digress and at least it wasn't Cha Cha Matcha. I tried the tart, raspberry, mango, and said matcha. The best of the bunch by a mile is the mango which had a nice mixture of tart and sweet while the tart was good as was the raspberry with other people enjoying the chocolate. The toppings include lychee, shredded coconut, blueberries, some other fruits, dates (which are a bit hard to take out,) cut up mango, and a few other things. There is also a raspberry sauce along with chocolate sauce and a pistachio sauce (I of course took the latter.) After weighing, my total was $11.50.The pistachio sauce was my easy preference reducing the sweetness/sourness while I liked the bites of lychee. The shredded mango was unfortunately not the freshest but had a nice crunch with the dates adding a nice extra flavor and texture. The mochi also felt a bit fresher being less stuck together than anything I remember from ages ago back at Red Mango. Combined with the excellent froyo, this made a tasty little snack and I would go back again if the lines weren't so absurd (I'll probably go back anyway.)Hopefully this concept works well enough (and it definitely should based on the giant lines daily) that there will be eventually some other locations which are closer to me which will make their lines a lot more bearable. This is the first froyo place that I truly enjoyed. Would recommend braving the line.
