When it comes to choosing where to dine in New York, Murano Ristorante offers a compelling and unique culinary journey that is well worth experiencing. The menu is a reflection of authentic Venetian and Italian cuisine, featuring both classic dishes and unique house specialties. One of the most talked-about dishes is the Ossobuco Raviolo, which, as one reviewer notes, is a single, large raviolo that is "extremely well prepared" and offers a "pleasant experience." It’s a bold and memorable take on a traditional dish.
The menu is thoughtfully divided into several sections, allowing diners to explore a wide range of flavors. From the "Appetizers" section, you can find a variety of starters such as Grilled Octopus and Salmon Tartare. The pasta dishes, or "Primi," are a major highlight, with options like Linguine Vongole and the aforementioned Ossobuco Raviolo. For those with a taste for something different, the "Tradizionale Di Venezia" section offers unique Venetian specialties like Trippa Dolce (slow-cooked honeycomb tripe) and Baccala Mantecato (cod fish). Even if you're not a fan of tripe, this is the place to try it, as it's "prepared with great flavor and the right texture."
The "Pollo E Carni" (Chicken and Meats) and "Pesce" (Fish) sections of the menu showcase the kitchen's mastery of classic Italian main courses. You can find everything from Pollo Milanese and Veal al Limone to Branzino and Seared Red Snapper. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite, from the seafood to the meats. The dessert menu, though not explicitly detailed, is also praised for its excellence, along with the great coffee.
What truly makes Murano Ristorante worth choosing is the combination of its outstanding cuisine, sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere, and the exceptional service provided by a team that genuinely cares about the dining experience. It's a place that feels both new and classic, a true treasure in Midtown East that is setting a new standard for fine dining. The restaurant's ability to be a go-to spot for everything from a casual dinner to a special event, all while maintaining a high level of quality and authenticity, makes it a must-visit for any New Yorker.

Murano Ristorante Reviews
While walking our dogs, we were passing by Murano and we were happy that we stopped in. An old school vibe with an authentic Italian flare. The Osso in Bucco ravioli is a definite go to. Do not expect a dish of numerous small raviolis. It’s one large single ravioli. While at first it doesn’t sound appetizing, it actually is made extremely well prepared and pleasant experience. We recommend this one.The tripe and spaghetti with clams are also a great option. Even if you’re not a tripe person, this is the place to try your first attempt at it…prepared with great flavor and the right texture.Classy service with a personal touch.
September 06 · Carmine Battista⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A Midtown East Treasure — Murano is a Must!Murano may be less than a year old, but it’s already setting a new standard for dining in Midtown East. The atmosphere strikes that rare balance of chic and welcoming—sophisticated without ever feeling pretentious. The food is outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with both artistry and heart. Every dish I tried felt intentional, with bold flavors and beautiful presentation that make you want to savor each bite. What makes Murano truly shine, though, is the team. A special shoutout to Boliver, who was both bartender and server the night I visited—gracious, attentive, and full of charm. And to Vuk, the wonderful managing partner, whose leadership and warmth are evident in every detail of the experience. Their dedication is what makes Murano feel not just like a great restaurant, but like a place you want to keep coming back to.Eight months in, and Murano is already killing it. I can’t wait to return (often)!
August 22 · JoAnna PopeWe came here during lunch and overall enjoyed our meals. The pork chop was delicious and juicy, and was served with a meaty truffle sauce. I regrettably ordered the Chicken Milanese not knowing it was a cutlet and it was entirely overpriced (as it costs roughly the same as the pork chop) for what was essentially a large chicken nugget.
February 11 · AbdullahOne of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the city. Such a great experience. The food was amazing, the service was perfect and the atmosphere was great. The truffle pasta was incredible, and so was the eggplant appetizer. We also got the spaghetti del mare and the angel hair pasta with vegetables. Both of them were awesome. We went for my dad’s birthday and they all made it so special. The desserts were to die for. We will for sure be going back. One of my new favorite restaurants.
December 19 · Kylie HeldReally a wonderful restaurant experience! Tried something different this time…berkshire pork chops! Cooked perfectly and so tender and delicious. Gnocchi was excellent and Italian cheese cake for dessert was really the best we’ve ever tasted! Atmosphere and staff are exceptional! And it’s really great that they’re open on Sunday…pretty rare in midtown east!
