★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This deli has always come through with quality chicken cutlet and chopped cheese sandwiches. Even on an off day, the sandwiches are still delicious. At most, they might miss a small ingredient or two (ketchup or mayo) which is easy enough to fix at home. Unlike other spots that might burn the chicken or completely mess up your order, this place stays consistent. Hands down, the most reliable deli for a classic NYC sandwich, whether you’re craving a cutlet or a chopped cheese.
August 23 · JonathanOn a Saturday night, I came here to a 2 liter Pepsi soda. The soda, was priced at $3.50. I gave the clerk a $20 bill and he proceeded to give me $16.50 back in change, which consisted of a $10 bill, a $5.00 bill and fifty cents. Only when I got far away from the store did I notice that the five dollar bill was ripped in half. I didn’t notice it at first because of the way he gave me the money in my hand. I came to the store today to speak to the cashier about the bill and he swore it wasn’t him, but also pretended to not speak English very well (which is interesting since you are working the cash register at an establishment). He told me to come back during someone else’s shift, as he attempted to place the blame on someone else’s shift. Also, while I was in the store, a drug addict came in to sell stolen candy and he informed her to come back in the morning and speak with “Samir”. You can’t make this nonsense up. The customer service is horrible here. I do not recommend. Count your money or else they will scam you.
March 11 · TJWThe younger Spanish guy working the grill in the back is impatient and disrespectful. Guy wants to give me attitude because I didn’t finish saying my order before telling him what bread I wanted my sandwich on. Learn to listen first then reply. Just got home and he makes my entire sandwich wrong. Wrong cheese and wrong sauce. Next time be more patient and listen to your customers order first before cutting them off and then not even making the sandwich correctly.
June 17 · Douglas WongAlways remembers me and my order very friendly people love their burgers!!!!!
April 04 · Kari Lorch / warrell (Boo)It should be rated zero. I waited patiently for my turn while one of staff was endlessly fumbling with counting and packing one customer’s purchase. After a long while two men came up from the other side. The clerk (Omar) instantly served them, ignoring my presence. It’s not my first similar experience with the local Middle Eastern store clerks. I walked out insulted. Warning: tribal mysogyny is well and thriving in Manhattan.
