★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Sugar Hill Creamery is truly a gem in Harlem. After dinner with friends, we wandered in late at night and were surprised to find this charming shop still buzzing with energy.I ordered a scoop of cookies and cream topped with caramel, and it was absolutely divine—smooth, creamy, and bursting with flavor. My friend indulged in a double scoop of chocolate, her favorite, and couldn’t stop raving about how rich and velvety it was. Even her husband, who didn’t order ice cream, appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary water available for guests. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with plenty of flavors to tempt us. I love that they stay open late; it makes for the perfect stop when you’re craving something sweet after an evening out. This was my first visit, but certainly not my last—Sugar Hill Creamery is the kind of place you can’t wait to return to.

The decor was charming, adding to the cheerful ambiance. It was clear that this little ice cream parlor was a hidden gem. April 17 · Rosanna RodriguezI don’t go to Harlem, but when I do, I MAKE SURE I get Sugar Hill creamery. I will plan my trip around the time to ensure they’re open. This is the best ice cream I’ve had in America and I love ice cream. The young lady who helped me the first time I went was so knowledgeable and patient. The rotating flavors keep things exciting and also make it a little harder to choose but you’ll never be disappointed.I am excited for fall flavors.
September 15 · Charlie BrownGreat ice cream spot with interesting flavors. Can try samples to pick your flavor and the texture of the ice cream was great. Friendly staff and spots to eat inside.
May 24 · A FWe love this place! Creative flavors with historic and cultural references, sometimes inside jokes. My latest favorite includes habichuela con dulce. Lately I go there even for hot chocolate, the best around IMO.
