Very nice place. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was great, atmosphere was great too. I really liked the tacos carnitas, especially the spicy hot sauce on the side. Waffles were amazing too, crispy and light. Overall very pleasant experience.

Fantastic food, great service, very lovely people!We ordered the mixiote and the avocado chorizo Benedict. Both were fantastic! It was our first time, they brought out a waffle for us and it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be coming back!m to try more dishes!

A total gem in Brooklyn — do not skip this spot!We were visiting from DC, Maryland, and Wisconsin for a girls’ weekend, and a friend recommended Sunrise Espresso & Bar — they said it was a must-visit, and they were so right. This family-owned and operated gem gave us the warmest welcome and the most delicious sendoff we could’ve asked for.We were seated right away — no wait, even on a sunny weekend — and the vibe was absolutely perfect: bright, cheerful, and full of natural light from the big open windows. We sat by the sidewalk under the orange umbrellas, with cozy bench seating and people-watching galore. The coffee was delish, the croissants were buttery and fresh, and the waffles? Unreal. Every bite felt nourishing, made with care, and beautifully plated.As more patrons arrived, it felt like a family affair — truly a neighborhood favorite where everyone knew each other and new faces were treated like regulars. Sunrise Espresso and Bar is one of my favorite spots. The relaxing atmosphere makes it easy to unwind, the coffee is always excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. They also have a wide variety of dishes, so there’s always something for whatever mood you’re in. Definitely one of my go-to places.

We had the breakfast burrito and chilaquiles! And they were delicious! For dessert this delicious waffle. The customer service is beyond amazing ! We got to meet the owner and know a little more about the establishment , everyone is so polite and it’s a very nice place to have mimosas.
