I recently visited Tex’s Chicken & Burgers and had a mixed experience. Despite the restaurant being empty, I experienced a lengthy wait time for my order. Additionally, I wasn’t asked whether I was dining in or taking out, and no straw was provided for my drink. My order totaled $11.27, plus a $3.73 tip.The atmosphere was warm, and it’s evident that the café has a good rapport with its regular customers. However, I was disappointed to see that after taking my order, the staff member immediately sat down and became engrossed in their phone, which felt unprofessional. On a positive note, the food quality was good, and the ingredients appeared fresh.In summary, while the food met my expectations, the service left room for improvement. I hope the management addresses these issues to enhance the overall dining experience.

On Thursday, I ordered an 8-piece chicken meal from this store for guests I was hosting. Unfortunately, the chicken was served cold, and I felt embarrassed in front of them. I returned to the store and was eventually given a fresh batch—but this should not have happened in the first place. Serving cold food to customers, especially something meant to be hot like chicken, is unacceptable.What made the situation worse was the way I was treated. When I went back to the store, a male employee was rude and disrespectful to me. I am a senior citizen, and the way he spoke to me was completely inappropriate. No customer should ever be treated like that, especially not someone simply trying to get what they paid for.This behavior reflects poorly on store commitment to quality customer service. Your employees must be trained not only in food safety but also in basic respect and professionalism, especially when dealing with older customers.

The burgers were decent just small. The regular cheese burger was less than expected. However, the Bacon Burger was amazingly tasty. The cheese fries were also good, just wish we could add bacon to them also. The presentation of the food was very good even on take out.
