The Blond is a top choice for New Yorkers looking for a sophisticated and exclusive nightlife experience. Its high-end offerings and chic atmosphere set it apart from more casual bars. For those who appreciate a well-crafted cocktail and a luxurious setting, the extensive selection of premium spirits, from Don Julio 1942 to Macallan 18, is a significant draw. The fact that the bar is located in a stylish hotel also adds to its prestige and ensures a certain level of quality in both service and ambiance. The "dress to impress" policy, while strict, contributes to the overall elegance of the venue.
However, it's worth noting the feedback regarding the entry policy. As some patrons have noted, the door can be selective and may appear to have a preference for a certain look or crowd. While the official policy is focused on attire, the discretion of the doorman is a significant factor in gaining entry. For men, dressing appropriately is often a key to success, but even for groups of women, entry can be challenging without a reservation or a promoter connection. For many New Yorkers, the appeal of an exclusive venue outweighs the potential difficulty of entry, and for those who align with the club's vibe, The Blond offers an unparalleled experience of elegance and excitement in the heart of SoHo.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I haven't been here in a while. I'm a blonde and like Marilyn Monroe, so I always enjoy this spot. The music is always good, and it's a cute vibe with no issues, even in my sneakers, but I did see people get denied. So if you are a man, dress appropriately. I have never stayed at the hotel.
January 12 · PristineA promoter reached out to us, checked our instagram profiles (5 Asian girls, not abg vibes). The promoter took some time to come meet us outside but it was weird because he said he was waiting for more people but barely acknowledged us. We were constantly tossed around in line with other groups of girls getting in before us even though we had been in line first. When the bouncer was about to check our ID’s, he checked mine but stopped checking the rest of the group. Then the promoter pulled us OUT of the line, to the corner, and told us that the people at the door don’t like our group and only some of the girls can come in. Like what???If you knew what we looked like and felt like we didn’t “fit” with the vibe of this place then you could’ve told us before we spent hours getting ready and coming here.Honestly it feels racist here because all the skinny blonde girls got in and we did not see any Asian girls get in lol
September 20 · Yeryn DoIt’s about time people realize how shallow and classist this place. If you are a woman, you have to share your Instagram with bartenders/organizers beforehand so they can judge your looks and decide if you’re pretty enough to get in here. A group of friends of mine recently had this experience. I don’t know who they think they are, there are much better options in the city with better ambience and exclusivity. If you’re a woman with self esteem just boycott this place
August 21 · Tasvir RahmatullahTotal waste of time. The staff are arrogant, the bouncers think they’re celebrities, and the drinks cost way more than they’re worth. Even once you get inside, the bartenders act like serving you is beneath them. No shock this place struggles to keep its rating above 3 stars — the attitude alone drives people away.
August 17 · Matthew RobbinsThe Blond is one of New York's prestigious venues located in Lower Manhattan. Nestled inside the 11 Howard Hotel, it is reminiscent of Los Angeles Sky Bar. The entrance is subtle but lavish with a healthy set of stairs which leads into a dimly lit bar. We were here in celebration of LaRopa's expansion. Music is a blend of the past, the present and perhaps the future. The staff was courteous and professional, especially the bartender, promoters and bouncers. Remember, the crowd is young and elegant. Do not waste your time if you do not belong to the culture of clandestine clubs and on a list. Bottle service is probably your best course of action. All in all, this is definitely a mood. And, after a crowded night at this spot, you'll feel like the pandemic never happened.
March 10 · 360 MAGAZINEEw?Everyone here was like 18 years old with a weird promoter. The bouncer was also cussing out a non-belligerent 18 year old child.Weird look for you guys
