★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Please do yourself a favor and try literally anything from this sweet new bakery on Cortelyou. From gourmet donuts, cookies, and pastries, everything I’ve tried has been spectacular. My friends think I’m crazy but their oatmeal raisin cookie has me rethinking my devotion to chocolate chip. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood!
May 17 · Shannon HunzickerI was glad to see the space between the Castello Plan and Jennifer's Beauty World being filled especially since King Mother closed down.Though the Bakehaus is another bakery/cafe on the road, it does have some unique characteristics. It markets itself as representing pastries from different parts of the world. So in addition to the typical croissants & cookies, it has treats such as scones, caneles, macarons, cronutz (purposefully spelled in order to not conflict with the popular cronuts). I ordered a canele and while it wasn't my favorite version of a canele, it was decent enough. They have a loyalty card for drinks to earn a free coffee and croissant. There are a few chairs and tables inside and out especially with summer approaching but with the current construction shed, it is not picturesque. The people there were generally nice and took my order efficiently. I might comeback just to see what their riff of a cronut is like.
July 21 · Kamara SwabyThe owner was friendly and welcoming. They have Delicious almond paste croissants. They also have a variety of donuts (we tried the tiramisu cronut) and the coffee is absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back for my almond paste croissant & coffee !Update: you have to try the cookies they areeee bomb
April 22 · AnayeliVery cute small bakery with delicious offerings. We tried to pain au chocolate and the cinnamon bun. Both were fantastic. Flaky, buttery and fresh. Plan on trying more of their options soon.
