September 07 · Kaylah CarruthersLe Pavillon is located right in the heart of Manhattan, next to Grand Central Station – an excellent location. The bar front is beautiful and makes a great first impression. However, the seating area itself could be improved; the artificial flowers decorating the space didn’t look particularly high quality. The main course, the duck, was excellent – perfectly cooked and full of flavor, definitely the highlight of the meal. The dessert, however, was overly sweet for my taste, and the starter felt slightly unbalanced in its flavors. The food overall was good, but compared to the European fine dining standards I’m used to, it didn’t quite reach that exceptional level. Prices are in line with New York dining, but given the standard, there’s still room for improvement. The service was good, though not outstanding. Overall, a pleasant experience, but not quite at the “wow” level – hence four stars.
August 08 · A.This place is a fantastic find for celebrating birthdays or special occasions with your partner. The starters, entrees, and desserts are all delicious, and the portion sizes are quite generous! Got a lobster for two (pic only shows lobster and fish) but it comes with rice, sauce for the main and ratatouille! Just ordering that and dessert with wine would be prefect because we couldn’t finish everything and had to pack the rest.
September 05 · Angel ParkThe experience begins the moment you step through the door. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of cozy and chic, with warm lighting that invites you in and thoughtfully arranged decor that feels both stylish and welcoming. The meal service is nothing short of exceptional. The staff is attentive and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, ready to recommend dishes based on your preferences. Each course arrives beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's artistry.Overall, it was an unforgettable dining experience that combines impeccable service, a vibrant atmosphere, and a menu that celebrates bold flavors. It’s not just a meal; it’s a culinary journey that leaves you eager to return.
August 16 · Samson SA dinner venue that provides just the right amount of comfort without being stuffy or pretentious. It can be a bit noisy as the tables are close to one another and you can hear the neighbouring tables’ conversations. The restaurant tries to let its food speak for itself and it certainly did in terms of the entrees which were all very good. The starters were ok but not memorable. The black bass and lobster were great but the scallop was exceptional. The true highlight was the pineapple sorbet and cream dessert. A beautiful blend of sweet and tangy and an explosion of textures.
