NoMad Diner is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's a hub for socializing and relaxing. With its blend of classic and innovative dishes, and a welcoming environment that is inclusive of everyone from families to the LGBTQ+ community, this diner redefines what it means to be a local favorite in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.

It successfully bridges the gap between a simple, casual diner and a high-end restaurant, offering the best of both worlds. It provides the comfort food we all crave, but with a quality and attention to detail that sets it apart. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Rafael & Kevin were by far the best & made the atmosphere of the diner and bar amazing. The drinks were 10/10 & they really treated us amazing whenever we spent time at the hotel. Would stay at Arlo Nomad again just for their service!
May 15 · Emmerson VivierThe prices are higher and the vibes are finer than your typical greasy spoon, but this IS Manhattan after all...Everything gets bougiefied because that seems to be the only way Manhattanites can eat food. (*Eye roll*)Come in with those expectations, and you'll be on the path to enjoyment. Our group of four started with a plate of Curly Disco Fries. They were delish, esp with the bougie upgrades of fontina cream and chicken gravy. My only quibble was there wasn't enough gravy. Sigh.As far as entrees went, we were all happy with our orders. The Diner Plate came with all the breakfast classics cooked well. Both Eggs Benedict (one with smoked salmon, the other with avocado) were scrumptious--namely because of the substitution of latkes for classic English muffins. Whoever thought of this was GENIUS, and I hereby declare that all eggs benny should be served over latkes. Someone please notify the Jewish chef community #pleaseandthankyou.Honestly, the weakest dish was my own, the Pastrami Hash. While the pastrami was perfectly seared, there was too much vinegar added to the hash, making it painfully tart (and I love vinegar!). Wouldn't get this again. We finished with a slice of classic carrot cake, which was moister and richer than it had any right to be.Overall, a good spot for a somewhat affordable, casual lunch in a neighborhood that skews heavily toward mid, overpriced restaurants. The fact that they don't seem to care how long you linger is also nice, but that seems to be general chill vibe of this Arlo hotel.
May 06 · Josephine LeeMet friends here while we were all in the city and this seemed like a good option to grab brunch on our way out of town. Prices are a bit high but hey it’s NYC. Food was good but I’d recommend adding onions or some sauce to the diner plate because it ended up a bit dry. Iced coffee was absolutely fantastic. Service was not perfect but we got what we needed. Seemed to only be two people working…but the place wasn’t busy. Would return but I wouldn’t necessarily seek it out.
August 04 · Drew BrodeurI don’t like giving bad reviews… but this experience at Arlo diner was not a good one. I paid $12 for a lemon meringue pie, and the attached photo shows what I was given. This is basically a piece of play dough with cool whip attached.
April 09 · SarahRafael is an excellent bartender who really made our night special. He was friendly, attentive, and clearly knows his craft. The drinks were spot-on, and he offered great recommendations based on what we liked. It’s always a bonus when someone behind the bar creates a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere, and Rafael did just that. We’ll definitely look for him next time we come in.
