I had a great time here at Shinpi and they were very accommodating seeing as I arrived an hour early to my reservation. The fish were fresh and paired well with what Chef Lin prepared from the toppings to the sauces. And the GOLD dust was everything and literally everywhere! 🤩 The setting was aesthetically pleasing, small and quiet so great to catch up with friends or as date night for couples. Would definitely wanna come back. - Kimmie

Shinpi Omakase Introduce

In a city known for its incredible diversity of cuisine, Japanese food holds a special place, particularly the refined and artistic experience of an omakase meal. Amidst the countless sushi spots in New York City, Shinpi Omakase stands out as a hidden gem, offering a truly intimate and personal dining journey. The word "omakase" means "I leave it up to you," and at Shinpi, you are entrusting your culinary experience to a talented chef who guides you through a curated, multi-course tasting menu. This is not just a meal; it's a performance, a conversation, and an exploration of fresh, seasonal ingredients. Located in the heart of Madison Avenue, Shinpi Omakase provides a tranquil escape from the bustling city streets, making it an ideal destination for a special occasion, a romantic date night, or simply a moment to savor a masterfully prepared meal. The restaurant’s commitment to quality and a quiet, focused atmosphere ensures that every visit is memorable.

Shinpi Omakase is nestled at 121 Madison Ave #3, New York, NY 10016. This address places it in a prime location between 30th and 31st streets, putting it at the crossroads of the NoMad and Gramercy Park neighborhoods. Its Madison Avenue location makes it easily accessible for anyone working or living in Midtown and surrounding areas. For those relying on public transportation, the restaurant is conveniently close to several major subway lines, including the 6 train at 33rd Street and the B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, and W trains at 34th Street-Herald Square. This makes it a great choice for a destination dinner, easily reached from almost anywhere in Manhattan.

Given its location, paid street parking is available, though it is often limited. It's often more convenient to use public transit or a rideshare service, especially for a reservation-based dining experience. The intimate setting of the restaurant means that it is not a large, bustling space, which adds to its charm. For planning purposes, it's crucial to note that reservations are required for dining here. The restaurant accepts reservations, and dinner reservations are highly recommended due to the limited seating and the nature of the omakase experience, which operates on a set schedule. While specific accessibility details are not fully available, its location within a building suggests standard accessibility features.
