The menu also offers a selection of other dishes beyond the omakase, including various hot foods and small plates, all prepared with the same attention to detail. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1One of the absolute best dinners of my life. The sushi was fresh, the omakase was personal and i loved the decor. You feel like you’re in a small local restaurant in Japan. I can’t get enough of this place. I will be back 100x more.
April 12 · Taylor EliasI went to Sushi You last weekend and it was delicious! It’s definitely a hole in the wall restaurant so hard to miss but if you are lucky enough to find it, you are in for a treat! The restaurant is run by the sushi chef couple and you can definitely sense the authenticity. They make you feel like you are just invited to their house for some good food! I got the omakase and also the hot food. The quality was amazing so if you are in the area, please go and treat yourself!
June 18 · Olivia KimLove this place!I’ve known about Sushi You for over 10 years, and Miku-san’s sushi is simply the best. Many Japanese people know this spot, but it’s so good that no one really wants to share it—like a well-kept secret. This is a truly Japanese-approved sushi restaurant. The quality, service, and atmosphere are all 5 stars. Of course, the best experience is at the counter, but the tables are great too.We sometimes come for lunch as well —the lunch specials are incredible! (Just don’t forget to bring cash.) I especially love the ramen and chirashi combo.Honestly, I have no desire to go to any other sushi place in NYC. It’s Sushi You or nothing!
April 08 · Jasmine Tsukada (Kayo Uno)Hit this up on a Wednesday for lunch! Such an amazing deal and the chef was super generous! We got Combo C for $68/each. It was ramen and 7 piece omakase. It’s a true hidden gem! Make a reso and head over!
August 31 · Mindy LaiTo say 30% of the experience was the fun and charming environment, the service, and interacting with Chef Micu would suggest the quality and deliciousness of sushi was only worth 70% of our meal - this is absolutely not the case. I've had outstanding omakase elsewhere but this took the cake. Incredible, fresh sushi, excellent service, and the chef is a complete charm. Dinner was just FUN! We made another reservation before we had finished our meal. My only second thought was for the $110 menu, I would have thought I'd leave slightly more indulged. I don't think the $80 menu would have been enough for dinner.
