★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 14.5. Great spot with a really fun vibe. The menu is straight forward and has some pub classics, done with a bit of elevation. French fries were great, so were the wings. The space is dimly lit and intimate. Service was friendly and efficient.Lots of options for sharing apps and the best part is the bar/dance floor downstairs for after your meal. Great vibes and a fun night. There are stairs to get in and they will card you at the door even for dinner so bring ID.There is a bathroom on the main floor and one downstairs as well. Some vegetarian options as well.
July 12 · Becca KellnerTLDR: Great experience hosting birthday dinnerI had such a positive experience at The Flower Shop on a Friday night - I had emailed to coordinate and even last minute, it was very easy to plan and the co-owner I spoke with was extremely accommodating. Our waitress Fiona was great; we were a bit slow to order drinks and some people got there quite late, but she was really relaxed which made it a much more enjoyable experience than it could have otherwise been. I appreciate that we weren't rushed out. The food was great (everyone was raving about it) and quantity for the group was more than enough.I would definitely host there again!!
June 01 · AlexMy friend and I went here at Thursday at 5:15 during their happy hour. Both ordered an orange wine thinking it was on their happy hour menu as it only said “wine -$7”. When we got the bill we were surprised that it was at full price.Asking the staff about the price they said Orange wine was not included on the happy hour - in quite a rude and demeaning tone. Also made no attempt to apologize or correct the bill.Definitely wouldn’t suggest this bar as there are other establishments in the area worth checking out.
January 03 · Ujesh VoraNice atmosphere, affordable food. They made sure to mention multiple times that the orange wine wasn’t part of the happy hour, probably in regards to the other review here, but what’s up. Why not just print it?
May 28 · Evan UI went to eat at Gazebo, which is hosted inside the Flower Shop. I just want to make this clear the review is for Eddie Huang's pop up resteraunt. It was suppose to be Chinese-Mediterranean fusion, but I felt it was just individual dishes with foreign sauces/dips.1. The Chopped Fluke dish has green onion scallion that was FROZEN in clumps...when I told the server, they took it back, but brought the same dish back with the clumps removed.2. The Scallop Ceviche dish was okay, but the sauce was too light and it was not worth the price. I know its fusion, but taking away the sour/tangy of a traditional Ceviche dish, makes this just a basic Scallop plate IMO.3. **Warning**: Be very careful asking for the drink menu. The server brought us the menu for The Flower Shop, which ended up being two separate receipts and taxes....which leads us to...:4. The "Suggested" Gratuity is calculated on the whole total of the bill (including tax). This is annoying and deceptive, as owners can claw back a pre-determined amount from the staff. I spoke with our server and ended up giving her (lovely btw!) a cash tip.All in all, it felt like a forced attempt between his Chinese cooking background and his wife's background? That is what the server tried to tell us in the beginning. A lot of dishes could have been great on its own, but the sauces and sides felt so random.
