★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve only eaten here once so far, but I have to disagree with the low ratings. Maybe I got lucky, but I came in until just before 1pm on a Thursday afternoon, and didn’t have to wait long at all. I ordered the Brooklyn’s Finest with white American cheese and gravy. The bartender who helped me was warm and friendly, the beef was tender and seasoned well, and the cheese was melty and added a nice creaminess to the sandwich. The gravy was delicious too, maybe next time I’ll also get some fries to dip into it. You can tell that the roast is fresh. I kept it simple and didn’t order anything on the side, mostly because I wasn’t hungry enough for a huge meal, but the sandwich was tasty and kept me satisfied for a while. $15 for a solid, restaurant style, non-deli sandwich in Midtown Manhattan is not bad. I’d go again! 4.5 rounded up.
April 16 · Kiera Kordered from joseph brothers on uber eats, ordered the jersey son sandwich and cheese curds, very delicious sandwich with some gravy poured on each bite. i wish they had a smaller serving of cheese curds as im not sure i can finish all of them as the serving is pretty massive
May 09 · Micah LeverenzVery delicious sandwich, the Brooklyn finest. They offer you either aju or gravy, and I opted for gravy. It was delicious.Update 7/27/23. Little bit slow this time. Had to wait quite a while to pick up my order. Not confident I want to come back.Update 1/18/24Still very slow service. But the sandwiches still taste good. But you'll wait for them.Update 1/30/24Very, very slow.3/15/24That's it. Way too slow, and not even all that was ordered.
March 15 · Matthew MartinI'm not a massive roast beef sandwich fan but I kept hearing great things about Joseph Brothers' so had to try it out during my lunch break.I absolutely love the layout of this place within The Hugh. It's essentially one long counter bar along with a couple of tables to the side. The variety of beer and TV screens are a nice touch.I had the "Brooklyn's Finest" roast beef with American cheese and au jus on the side. I have to say, the roast beef was magnificent! It wasn't dry whatsoever, but very flavorful and tender!I'll have to come back and try some of their other items on the menu. The chicken wings looked good!
July 07 · Alex GAfter being disappointed with some of the other food at the High, I decided to try Joseph Brothers. The pub fried are addictive and the sandwich is heavy, smells and looks great. I'll be making an edit after I eat.
