October 03 · Bluenice little spot, not actually sure if they sell sandwiches cause i was a bit afraid to ask. the selection is a wide array of polish products so it's not the easiest to discern what you might want but i thought everything was relatively priced really well and the chips i had were delicious. the pastry display looked really nice and there seemed to be people stacking up on desserts for thanksgiving. id like to comeback to try some cold cuts.
November 26 · o oTHE BEST POLISH DELI AROUND. Amazing food, amazing service and super helpful!!! (Under new ownership, so only consider reviews from 2024 and beyond!)I am a Polish American and we try and keep some Polish traditions alive, like Wigilia. We also love fresh kielbasa and perogies year-round. Being originally from Yonkers, NY I grew up used to REAL Polish food from a REAL Polish Deli. And if you’ve only gotten your kielbasa and perogies from Stop and Shop, then you’ve never had REAL Polish perogies and kielbasa. Get them from here and you’ll know what I mean.I do not speak polish. And I have tried may of the other Polish deli’s around. I always enter with a “dzień dobry” which is good afternoon in Polish, and 85% of my Polish vocabulary. For reasons I can not understand, once all these other delis learn you don’t speak Polish you immediately become a second class citizen, and there is no hope of getting any help or explanations on all the wonderful variety of foods available. But not at Warsaw Deli. The new owner, Jan, was incredibly helpful. He even took the time to explain a few traditions I wasn’t aware of.Even if you aren’t Polish go here, and try something new. Just ask Jan what to try!
December 21 · Tom RusinWe like this store very much. My daughter and I often visit it for delicacies from my childhood. Lots of Polish products, great breads, meats, cheeses, my favorite coffees and a large selection of food. The new owner has introduced positive changes that are visible immediately after entering the store. A place worth visiting on the Stamford map.
February 02 · ewa ewaIf I could give this place a higher score I would. I went the other week and couldn’t believe it had any bad reviews, and that’s when I discovered they have new owners. So don’t judge by any old reviews.Kielbasa sandwich best I ever had. They asked me what I wanted on it and I said, whatever you suggest and it was a m a z i n g.I got some kielbasa to go and made another sandwich the next day. Kielbasa was fantastic, my sandwich making skills aren’t as good but the kielbasa still made it awesome. Both sides of my family come from Poland I only wish I spoke the language. Luckily they worked with me and some younger employees helped as well.I only wish I lived closer and spoke polish. Great job guys, I’ll be back whenever I’m close by.
May 16 · James KasonI went to three different stores looking for Hungarian Paprika. They had both the sweet and hot variety!
