★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The salt and pepper squid was nicely flavored and fried perfectly without making it chewy. The picked cabbage had a nice sweet and sour balance. The Taiwanese sausage had the perfect flavor and nice amount of skin pop. The Char siu bao was different from what I'm used to but still rather tasty. The staff was pretty nice and in a quaint little space with a good music selection. The only reason I had to wait for a table was because there was a rude lady that set up camp in the small shop, watching whatever on her phone and not thinking about other customers.
August 14 · The SymphonyCasual but classic Taiwanese fare - come here to try popcorn chicken, beef noodle soup, and more. I ordered the beef noodle soup, which I thought was quite good. The broth was savory and smooth, the beef was quite tender, and the noodles were very tasty too. I thought that the popcorn chicken was definitely the highlight though. Very reasonably priced and generous portions too! If you’re looking for tasty Chinese food in Midtown East, this is the place to go!
May 27 · Zachary ZhuOrdered the premium beef noodle and hand made lemon green tea. The noodle was delicious, plenty of beef and it was very tender. The lemon tea was good but I selected 30% sugar, next time I’ll try 50% sugar and see the difference. Seating was a bit tight and space can be crowded quickly during lunch. Around 10 mins wait for my food. Overall was very satisfied and will try again.
March 14 · JackJayCI like their flushing location, and I was surprised they have a location in manhattan. Figure I give it a try. I like the food it's very authentic, and the portion is very generous as well. I got the Taiwanese sausage over rice and it comes with 2 sides for 15.50. I think it's a fair price in midtown manhattan. Will visit again when I am in the area !!
July 09 · Jennifer CHNoodles were too overcooked and lacked toppings, Taiwanese bento was ok and so was the popcorn chicken. There’s a few tables for seating, ok spot to go for lunch.
